They used to take your passports, and make you wake up at an ungodly hour on debarkation day to claim them again. Thankfully, this practice has been discontinued. I would strongly discourage you from taking your passports with you when you are in port...make copies of all of your passports...

Yes, that's what they claim...however, sending a package with printed material and/or a gift to someone in another country is not against any kind of law. We travel extensively, with many different companies, and ABD is the only one who won't send us anything...no other company seems to have...
