Yes, Blue Horizons (because I work that show backstage ;) ) and One Ocean which is the Shamu show. They both fill up fairly quickly if it is a busy day. If you have time for Pets Ahoy or Clyde and Seamore Take Pirate Island, I would do those as well because they're just adorable. A'lure you...
I'm not sure if CP's get personal days...I was never told I got those! Who knew!! You can always have her request to work early in the morning so she can spend the rest of the day with you, if anything! good luck!
CP's usually hear back before PI's do. That being said, If you get accepted for a PI after accepting a CP, they will refund your deposit and switch you to PI. It happens all the time.
You can. I never did and I wish I had just to see what it was like down there. Just know you really aren't suppose to enter on stage in regular clothes, but I've done that in Epcot and no on really seemed to notice, It's just where the CP bus lets you off is backstage!
So, you're saying that I wouldn't be able to work more then 25 hours within 7 months?!? As part time? That's ridiculous, if I'm reading it right. I'm guessing most employees are FT, then? Or do you mean, they cap you once you have worked over 25 hours a week for 28 weeks? Yes?
Can I thread-jack and ask....Why not go PT after the CP instead of just seasonal? What is the difference? I plan on either extending my CP, going FT, PT, or if I have too, seasonal (I plan on staying in FL permanently). Is there a max amount of hours you can work? I could do 150 easily if I plan...
When the CP's arrive they usually have a "shoe-mobile" type thing on property somewhere that you can buy your shoes out of. They are called "Shoes for Crews" it's a business out of FL.
Thank you! I was wondering what they do exactly. It will help me when it comes time to pick roles and what order I want them to be in :) Thanks again!!
Although...Working the Laugh Floor would be a dream of mine :cloud9:
I would have loans and bills to pay unlike most younger CP's who haven't graduated yet. So although I don't really care what costuming CP pays, I do need to do some money-planning before I get down there. I plan on moving into my own housing and supporting myself eventually, the CP is my plan to...
Marion, I just read your blog. You sound like a fun person, I loved reading it!! I'm hoping to move down to FL after I graduate, I seem to have the same game plan as you did. I am still nervous about school loans and how to pay for everything. I think I may message you about that if you don't...
It doesn't say the prices on their website...but on an apartment rating website it said a studio/one bedroom is 1000+.. thats ridiculous! I wonder how correct that is...and if PI's get paid enough to afford it & have money left to survive? I'm researching for next round of PI's in 2013..hmmm.
YES! to the bolded! As long as you are a current student when you apply, you're golden. Techies, Unite!! ;) props master(& everything else...) here...what do you do?
There are some techie PI's and there is Costuming for CP, which I was accepted to the first time I did my CP but I had to be...
