    Moonlight Magic at Typhoon Lagoon

I like this one because I already have a Gold AP so I get into the theme parks already. I don't however get water park access, so this is exiting to me to get into TL for free. Registered for 6/28.

    Annual Pass, first use question

Sorry one more question, we are thinking of going from the airport (TPA) right to a park before checking in at our resort (AKV). Do they have band scanners at the parking booths? I don't want to get stuck paying to park but I'm afraid the band may not be fully activated until you enter a park.

    Annual Pass, first use question

We've been an annual passholder many, many times in the past but we've been passholders at DL for the last couple of years and need to get back into the swing of things at WDW. Last time we had WDW APs, Magicbands were still in their infancy and I'm sure things have changed. We bought the AP...

Can anyone ride the hotel boats?

Haven't been to USO in a while but with the free Citywalk parking after 6pm we're thinking about heading over there one night of our Disney vacation. Can we take the boats to the hotels from Citywalk or are they just for hotels guests? We stayed at the Hard Rock once but it was back when there...

Second Starbucks opens up in DTD, much closer to DLH

The best part of these DTD locations are they are "real" Starbucks which mean you can redeem your freebies there which you can't in the parks. I like to save up my freebies for vacation.

What's Up with the MU Hats at Disneyland

After my first day there last month I had to check the price because I assumed they were significantly cheaper since there were so many of them around but as someone above mentioned they were $19.95, same as most other (better looking in my opinion) hats.

    Possible Additions/Changes to WDW Transportation

Every time I see arguments/complaints about Disney transportation I like to point out that MCO has about the cheapest rental cars in the US. They also go where you want to go when you want to go there. I haven't used transportation at Disney (except for monorail/boat to MK) in years and I...

What's the cheapest way to get to San Diego zoo from Anaheim without a car?

I actually thought the LA Zoo was pretty good too although getting there without a car is no easy feat either. There is also the Santa Ana Zoo an exit south of DL, but I would give this one a pass. Not really worth it.

What's the cheapest way to get to San Diego zoo from Anaheim without a car?

I can't believe anyone wouldn't be impressed by the SD Zoo. This could be the first negative I've ever heard about it. I've been to 30+ zoos from Maine to Hawaii and SD blows all others away. It is incredible and totally worth the trip. I'm not exactly sure what it takes to impress some...

    Sequoia Lodge or Newport Bay?

I am one of the rare folks on this board who have stayed at all four resorts you mentioned in your post. I can assure your NB is nowhere close to the level of BC and SL is nowhere near the level of WL. The theme is similar but the maintenance, level of service, as well as overall resort feel...

    Line Manners

I found whenever a line had a switchback someone would try to cut you at the turn and then invite their entire family up once the cut was made. It happened to me on just about every ride with a line. I also experienced it at CDG, the Louvre, The Eiffel Tower and just about everywhere else...

Is DLP Paris worth it for an American?

I think it's more that I know the US parks so well that I like the challenge of tackling and unfamiliar (yet still somewhat familiar) park. I really want to go to Tokyo but the flight time/cost is still a bit prohibitive, but I'm saving. I don't love DLP but I don't hate it either. It's still...

For those that have been to both DL and WDW...

There was a saying I heard once that typifies the dynamic between the US parks: Disney World is for tourists, Disneyland is for purists. I've been to WDW far more times because the airfare is half price and the flight is 3 vs 6 hours but if I lived somewhere where all things were equal I'd...

Is DLP Paris worth it for an American?

To the OP, in a word No. Judging by the tone of your post you don't seem to be as hard core Disney fanatics as some, you just seem to appreciate the parks in a more casual way. If that's the case then no, it really isn't worth taking time out of a European vacation to go to DLP. I have been...

Best time to go to Hawaii

The weather was nice, upper 70s to low 80s everyday. No spikes in temperature at all. We swam at the beach or pool every day. Florida is nice in Feb but you can't compare it to Hawaii because in FL you get those spikes where it will go into the 20s overnight. That doesn't happen in Hawaii.

Best time to go to Hawaii

We went during February vacation week this year and it was great. I was able to book at the 7-month window using points. We will be going back the same week again just not sure when but no later than 2018.

    Classic Annual Pass Question

I know the classic annual pass can be used for the 2nd and 3rd day after purchase. Here's my question, what if those 2 days are blocked out? Do the two days after purchase have to be eligible park days?

    Camelot Inn Parking question

I think all of these Harbor Blvd places are going to be similar. Desert Inn was fine albeit basic, I didn't use the pool at all. I can say I though the Fairfield was better but it is a longer walk and quite a bit more expensive. The dates I'm searching the Trop is cheaper than than the...

If you could pick one foreign DL to go to, which would you chose and why?

Tokyo for sure. I've been to DLP twice and it sucked both times.

    Camelot Inn Parking question

Considering trying the Camelot Inn for a trip in June since it's way too late to book the GC on points. Previously stayed at the Desert Inn and the Fairfield. This time I'm considering the Camelot but I can't figure out if parking is included in the quote or not. There really isn't a...
