There is nothing weird about going alone, and you have nothing to be worried about. Nobody looks at you any different just cause you are riding the rides alone - you just may think they do because you expect it...truth is many folks ride a particular ride alone even when they are with someone...

It's not just DH's with that issue. My DW likes Disney for about 3 hours per day - makes me want to pull my hair out! We finally gave up 4 trips ago, and I go to Disney solo. She visits her family in Germany where she can sleep late and relax everyday:sad2: Me, I'm at rope drop everyday...

I am going solo 11/9 thru 11/23. Not my first solo trip, but first solo at the Campground. Taking my RV down and plan to spend 3 of the days just enjoying Fort Wilderness!

It is fun - not nearly so "extreme" as the Simpsons ride

Star Tours is not quite as "extreme" as the Simpsons ride - I like it better. Both are motion simulators.

Update for today. Rode Star Tours twice - no problems. The patch rocks! Without any motion sickness aides, I couldn't watch 4 seconds of Star Tours, now I can enjoy it.

You need a prescription for the patch, so your doctor can tell you about other meds you can take with it. My doctor recommended the patch when I told her that a bonine/ginger combination didn't totally do the trick. I am glad she did...besides a bit of dry mouth I am having no issues with it...

I just did transformers and Simpsons with no problems - but that was with the scopolamine patch. Last year tried Star Tours and was sick In about 20 seconds without meds, so the patch works wonders.

Germany is presently serving Radeberger Pilsner, Altenmünster Oktoberfest, Schöfferhofer Weizen, and Hövels. The Oktoberfest is a can't miss if you like Lagers...
