    CB or POFQ

I have stayed at both and enjoyed my stay at both. There are plusses and minuses to both resorts. CBR is a huge resort! If you do not pay for a preferred room, the walk to the main building can be very long. In contrast, POFQ is much more compact. It is an easy walk to the main building and the...

    Wonderful cast member at OKW

I just had to share a great experience we had at OKW. We (mom, myself and dd(6) and dd (10) were visiting WDW last month and eating dinner at Boma. My mom had a knee replacement not too long ago, she is doing wonderfully but still not up to walking the parks, so we rented an ECV. Due to a series...

    Stuck on rides? Splash Mtn

Been stopped too many times to count, but we have only been truly stuck 3 times. The first was on EE at the top just before you go backwards. We sat for 15 minutes, but the the ride started up again and we just ride it back. The second time was on the HM in the crystal ball area. This was me...

Your favorite DVC resort & why

We Have stayed in all of the DVCresorts except SSR. Really enjoyed our stay at each one. My favorite was probably BWV because we love the convenience of walking to two parks and really enjoyed the boardwalk view from our balcony. The only one that we didn't enjoy as much was AKV. Our room was...

Quick question about rapid refill mugs

I am just curious about the new rapid refill mugs. Are they it every resort right now? If you have a split stay would the same mug work for both days?

Second thoughts on POFQ for solo trip

I finally decided on POFQ for my first solo trip in November, but now I am having second thoughts. I am worried that I will feel uneasy with the outside door. Should I switch to the BC?

    Wilderness Lodge vs Beach Club?

Here's my 2 cents. Your kids are pretty young so i am not sure how well they swim. SAB at the BC/YC made me super nervous when my kids were young. It is very spread out, and in my opinion hard to keep an eye on your kids. So I would not have opted for the extra nights at the BC for that reason...

    BWI CL or CR TPV?

I have stayed at both and I would choose BWI CL. BWI CL is the best CL that I have stayed at. The staff was amazing. I actually enjoy the BW view more than the TPV at CR. it is magical to watch wishes from your room, but the CL offers stuff all day. We ate breakfast every morning but one at CL.

Disney Beach Club or Disney Boardwalk Inn

We have stayed at BWI, YC and BC. We loved them all, but in my opinion, the boardwalk view from the BWI is the best view in WDW. We loved to people watch, and there is something so beautiful about the lights and crescent lake at night.

    Which resort for solo trip?

I am planning a solo trip to WDW in October. I am going for work, but planning to visit the parks. I can't decide where to stay. I have narrowed it down to Hilton Bonnet Creek, Boardwalk Inn, Swan or Wilderness Lodge. I will have a car, so transportation isn't an issue. The HBC is the best...

Just Booked PORS Tell Me if I Picked the Right Building

We are at POR right now in building 38 in Alligator Bayou. The room is super cute and the walk is not bad to anywhere. My only real issue is lack of storage in the room. The pull down bed, which my DD loves, replaces the dresser. I didn't think this would be an issue but it is is little...

Will I be disappointed with POR?

Leaving next week for POR. We have only stayed deluxe before. I am second guessing myself like crazy ( probably belong on the resort changers board). I have officially driven my DH so crazy that he will leave the room if I try to ask him a trip question. So my question is this, having only...

    Second guessing the Poly

WE love the poly and always make sure that we eat at ohana, but we had such a magical time at the GF during my DS birthday that I am not sure that anything will ever compare. The cast members went over and above and really made him feel special. Special items were left for him in the room all...

    Choose resort based on transportation??

Another option to consider is renting points to get a 1 bedroom at Bay lake tower. The 1 bedroom will give you the separate area to put the baby in and you cannot beat Bay Lake Tower for MK convenience. It is a 5 minute walk and with a stroller, not having to worry about ferries or monorails...

Help! Can't make a decision between POR and FW cabins.

Thanks, everyone! I think we are going to switch. The cabins just seem like something really different than we have done at Disney before. I am excited! My son was over the moon when I told him about the golf carts.

President's week. How bad will it be?

We are headed to WDW President's day weekend and staying for the week. I was looking at crowd calendars and it it predicting very crowded. Anyone been there president's week before? How bad is it?

Help! Can't make a decision between POR and FW cabins.

Thanks! Do you think that there is enough fun stuff to do at POR to keep us occupied on non-park days?

Help! Can't make a decision between POR and FW cabins.

We are doing a split stay at the end of Feb. It is me, DH, DS (11) and DD (7). We have been to Disney 6 times but have only stayed deluxe. This trip we are staying 5 days at a moderate than switching to the BC CL. I can't decide whether our first 5 days should be POR or FW cabins. We intend...
