I noticed on my sailing in November that all of the sudden a bunch of CAT T one bedroom suites are now available. Wonder if those people cancelled (or moved sail dates) due to the new policy. Hoping for a port upgrade now to CAT T.......wishful thinking.
I've said it before too. Its not about getting fall down drunk, its about saving a little money when I can. Its no different than stopping at Walmart and getting soda/water to keep in your fridge in your Disney resort because nobody wants to pay over $2.50 at a vending machine or gift shop.
Those worried about protecting children from drunk people on the ship, do you take your kids off the ship in ports of call? Not exactly Disney World in the port of oh lets say Nassau, or somewhere in Mexico?
Some people are missing the point. Not everyone is out to get fall down drunk on their cruise. The reason we like to take our own is that it saves money. Who doesn't like to save money? A bottle of vodka or rum or whatever you like costs less than $20 and will probably make at least dozen...
How is it any different for the mindset of people who eat as much food as they can on the cruise to get their money's worth? Are we going to start cutting people off at 2 Mickey Bars per day?
If DCL did a beverage package similar to Royal Caribbean or Celebrity I would be ok with it. We bought the premium package on a Celebrity cruise once. We got a print out of each time we got a drink. We roughly figured out that if each drink was X amount then we would have spent X amount on...
Sign me up for the Nov 7th cruise! This is our second cruise. Our first one was a 4 night on the Dream.
I hope its ok to join even though I didn't book through Dreams? I use a different TA.
There will be two of us (2 adults). We are in guaranty status in a 5E.
Will not be...
I just cruised in late Sept. and took two different kinds of vodka and a few bottles of wine (with screwtop). I asked our stateroom host to bring some wine glasses so we could enjoy our wine on our balcony. You can take your wine to the dining rooms but they charge you a corkage fee.
I...
No joke! I booked this cruise in April of last year and had to keep it a secret until August of last year (it was a surprise gift for a 40 b-day/10 year anniversary). So me and my partner has been waiting a very long time!
I agree. I think if they stop letting people bring drinks on board they need to have a drink package like Royal Caribbean or Celebrity.
Of course if they have a drink package they will probably charge a "Magical" price :lmao:
OMG, I'm staying in that very room on the Sept 28 sailing!!
When is your cruise? If its before mine you will have to let me know how the room was.
If you go after I sail I'll let you know!
We went on a Celebrity Cruise a few years ago and they do not allow you to bring alcohol on the ship. We purchased the premium beverage package which basically allowed you to get any drink that was under $15 per serving. So we could get premium top shelf drinks, wine, beer and full size...
Just joining, I know its late. I'll be on the 9/28 Dream Sailing.
This is our first Disney Cruise and only second cruise total. We went on a trip earned through my spouses company on the Celebrity Millennium a few years ago.
I've submitted to be on the Facebook group.
We are beyond...
Yes, booked Palo for dinner on the first night. Also have Palo booked for brunch on the sea day.
Probably won't decide on spa until we are on the ship. Not doing any excursions.
How do you prepay tips?
My first Disney Cruise is September 28th out of Port Canaveral.
I was wondering if I'm all set as far as documents and check-in and such?
I've done the online check in and printed the documents to sign and bring to the Port. I've received my booklet from Disney Cruise Line. I've prepaid...
