    He told me that there was no way renovations would be complete by our check in date. I don't know where they are going to move everyone, since this is a popular time for DVC members. And how do they have garden/pool view rooms available now? I'm just glad they didn't move us to a different...

    I just received a call from member services. My boardwalk view room has to be changed to a pool/garden, because the boardwalk view renovations will not be ready for another couple of months. We are checking in Dec. 2.

    And now it looks like Garden/Pool view rooms are being walked, since there aren't Boardwalk view rooms. I wish they would address this issue with those rooms. If this is because of renovations, that is a good thing! However, is taking out an entire room category necessary?

    Sad day .. Just Sold our DVC Membership..

    We just sold our large BWV contract for the same reasons as the OP. We bought in 2000, and it is a world apart from what it used to be like. There are already people walking BWV standard and BWV view, probably for fall or December 2023. We could always get a reservation for those times at 11...
