    Questions about Shula's

Dolphin may be a "convention" hotel, but I have yet to see a suit. I have seen lots of screaming children running through the lobby this weekend. We have been run over by several strollers trying to get on the elevator. There are way more families than business people.

The **New** Swan and Dolphin Resort thread ~ September 2010 ~ Please read post #1

Minnie, I totally agree about lack of options for allergies! I have asked at most places at the Dolphin and I swear you hear crickets when you ask about options for allergies. No one seems to know. There is a sheet one chef showed me with like one option for gluten free. The staff here have...

    Dolphin Vs Swan

We are at the Dolphin right now. I wish I had picked the Swan. We do have a view of the fireworks, but the staff here has been awful! Camp Dolphin was really disappointing. The front desk have not been helpful in getting an incorrect charged removed. I stayed here years ago and everyone was...

Inspired from another thread: how many here are Christians?

Nope- not at all what I meant. Sorry if you read it that way. I included the :lmao: as I was kinda making fun of myself.:rotfl:

    GAC and Disnelyland-question on criteria?

I understand people have abused the GAC. It is a shame that abuse is affecting people who really need the assistance. From what I have read getting a GAC in DL is hit or miss depending on the GS CM. It would be terrible to go all the way to CA and at the whim of a GS not be able to do anything...

Inspired from another thread: how many here are Christians?

I am not sure "curious" is the right word. I think there is a "norm" on the Dis board and it is not "Christian". It was on the Dis that I found out having "morals" and "values" was a bad thing :lmao:

    GAC and Disnelyland-question on criteria?

I have started planning a trip to DL several times, but fear of not having needs met have cancelled the plans. There is no point to travel all that way and not be able to do anything. I can "not be able do things" in my own backyard. I grew up in CA and hoped to share that experience with my...

Inspired from another thread: how many here are Christians?

Christian here. But I know how you feel reading some of these threads:scared1: . It is unusual to see a Christian thread on the Dis board, usually you see the "Godless Heathens-No Bashing" threads" :goodvibes

    GAC and Character Greetings

This is the issue we have. My DD knows we have been allowed to wait to the side before. She could not understand why she was not allowed to see the princesses (and this is how she saw it). But what of the single parent family with needs? There is no one to stand in line. Sadly, I don't...

    GAC and Character Greetings

No one asked for front of the line. Several families asked for another place to wait. We were told they were choosing to allow other access (Ie another place to wait) only for GKTW

    GAC and Character Greetings

Not to question you, but do you have anything to back this up? We had a huge problem with this very thing just last week. The "manager" I spoke with insisted they were not subject to provide any other access since they were not an "attraction" but a character meet and greet. We were told they...

Sister in Law has 6 kids...Christmas Shopping

Oh THANK YOU for saying this! WHY does it matter these children were adopted? And why does it matter where they were adopted from? As I understand it these children are your nieces? If buying them gifts for Christmas is going to cause an issue or stress you out, then don't buy a gift. I would...

Something I noticed & just wondering thoughts

I think it is important to not make judgements and "general" statements about people not using an ECV in everyday life. As a general rule a day in Disney can mean walking 10 miles. Most people don't walk 10+ miles a day in everyday life. Some mobility issues are agravated by that much walking...

    Kids Nite Out Question

Here is info on the program: http://www.kidsniteout.com/svcs_sitter.aspx According to this Disney has something to do with the KNO as the Caregivers complete Disney Traditions classes. And they have an office in Team Disney (across from DTD)

    OT: ChaCha

OK, I am the only one ready to quit Cha Cha? I was accepted as an expediter last week. Everytime I get a question, I get an error and have it logs me out. I have logged 28 minutes and made a whopping .36! And then today I got two "feedback"s telling me a question asking for a phone number...

    Concerned about chickenpox

So if I am reading this right, it does not sound like it is a good idea to get the vaccine and then head to WDW. I can't imagine anything more "close" than some of the lines at Disney!

    Pee in a bush

Oh come on!-you KNOW this "Mom" went and got back in line the same place she left.

    Parade etiquette question

Just today, we had an experience where someone tried to move in front of both my dd and I at a parade. The "parent" was telling the child (who was taller/older and bigger than my DD) to push my dd to get in front of her. Wasn't happening. They choose to move on:angel: . After the parade started...

HS Toy Story Mania: [Merged Threads]

The button is the coolest thing. We finally got to ride Toy Story today. My DD was thrilled to find out "Mickey made a ride just for her" (The button makes this ride "work" for her). According to the Cm I spoke with, they only have one car with the button. My DD asked her to ask Mickey to order...
