Best tips for preventing illness before and during a Disney vacay?

With Oregano Oil pills. If you're already healthy, take one a day or every other day. If you feel something coming on or have something, take one in the morning at one at night. Fish Oil pills are good once a day too.

    Rain or storms at WDW

We just did a week in early Sept. Weather forecasts had it raining every day. It sprinkled once for about 10mins. Now, it is Florida. So it does rain. Get some cheap ponchos. And when it does rain it's usually late afternoon for about an hour. No biggie.

Darn my husband! How crazy would this be?

Homeaway.com has some great villa/home options currently for as low as $50 a night. Even last minute.

    Nite time adult entertainment?

Treasure Tavern. Treasure Tavern. Treasure Tavern. Very PG-13/risque humor during the first half (my parents blushed quite a bit but loved the show), but it is such a great, fun show with food that's actually good.

    Disney Music

Pandora plays the same 5 songs over and over. Check out Live365 or SubsonicRadio for tons more variety and options. Also, go on yourtube. Some vids have tons and tons of songs in one vid.

    What Needs Updated @ WDW

Convert each 3D film (and Soarin') to HD like Universal's done with Spider-Man and Transformers. Plus, new 3D glasses. The less "ghosting" the better.

Can't take that FL trip? Think again.

Thanks for everyone's responses. I can't "answer" everyone but I'll say this: over the past 23 years since I was 8 I've been to WDW over 500 vacation days (over 100 at the other Parks). I've helped families plan numerous trips to DW (I planned our first trip when I was 8). It can be done very...

Can't take that FL trip? Think again.

If you really wanted to go to WDW for "cheap" you can do it. Below is a 5-day trip budget for four adults going during slower season (though busier season isn't much higher). Airfare: $250 x 4 (buy on a Wednesday) Car: $25 x 5 (carrentals.com + coupon. We just did mid-size for $10 a day) 4/3...

    NO FLASH photos on rides!

A few years back we were on Dinosaur and a guy had his camcorder light on for the first minute of the ride. Completely dark. Video light. Asked him politely to turn it off.

Put the theme parks in order from best to worst!

AK EP HS MK (Each one is absolutely amazing in its own right; putting MK last doesn't mean it's "worse" at all. And putting EP second is kinda weird bc its the Park we've visited the most over 23 years and is the first one we usually go to.)

To Rent or Not to Rent.. A Car

My motto: if you had a car you would have been there already. Using any other form of transportation (i.e. shuttle) will eat away at about 2hrs per day of your trip. Guaranteed. After just 5 days you've lost enough time (10hrs) to have been able to do at least 10 attractions -- that's a whole...
