I seem to remember some threads about a very nice on-site VB dinner that would be a good way to celebrate an anniversary. Does this ring a bell with anyone? DH and I will have an anniversary AND childcare while at VB this summer--yippee!:D

We vacationed with my nephew and niece (twins) when they were 4 and stayed at WL (right next to VWL). We did really appreciate the proximity to MK. At that age, they considered the boat ride to MK as an attraction. They LOVED it. The main theme pool was lots of fun for them as the slide...

If you have kids who like to play in the pool, it's hard to beat Beach Club's Stormalong Bay which they bill as a mini waterpark. It has a slide for big and little kids, lots of waterfall-ish stuff, a zero-level entry, sand-bottom area, a lazy river current for tubes, etc. It's very fun!

The space you gain by having a "twin" size bunk instead of a queen is less noticeable than you might think, as a queen bed is only about 20 inches wider than a twin. Still, it helps.

We all love eating at R del Z--you can get things ala carte even though the menu board doesn't list them that way. IE, if your friends are "galactic gobbler" fans (WDW turkey legs at MK tomorrowland) you can get them there.
