I agree with the pp - use Dawn. We are famous for doing this in our house (or should I say my dh)! I put the Dawn on it and then let it sit - sometimes I forget and it sits for a day or so. Then I just re-wash it. I have also sprayed goo-gone on chapstik stains as well. Good Luck!!
