What are your all-time top favorite Disney resorts?

8 so far 1 CSR 2 BC 3 OKW Worst stay was POR closely followed by GF. I think they’re all beautiful resorts but the level of care and service (whether you’re lucky and having a perfect trip or unlucky and things are going wrong) is the game changer.

Disney's PORT ORLEANS RIVERSIDE RESORT Information & Questions

I can’t comment on Alligator Bayou (5 bed) but no room in building 80, 85, 95 is more than 5 minutes walk across one of the bridges to the main building (80 and 85 are standard rooms) obviously the main bus stop is the same distance with many rooms in 80 and 85 much closer to their own bus stop.

Disney's PORT ORLEANS RIVERSIDE RESORT Information & Questions

I can’t blame you . We had two nights before POR at All Stars Sports and it was our first Disney value experience. While I could see where the differences in levels were apparent from our usual moderate or deluxe we had a beautiful room, no issues and a perfect stay. It’s what we all work for...

Disney's PORT ORLEANS RIVERSIDE RESORT Information & Questions

The royal room we stayed in on 18th and 19th August was in good decorative state and good working order with the exception of the fridge BUT I have to be completely honest and if I was returning to WDW imminently there is no way I would be staying in an area that hasn’t been refurbished because...

Disney's PORT ORLEANS RIVERSIDE RESORT Information & Questions

To be honest our ceiling issues could happen anywhere and it was handled very well indeed but you’re right the other issues were bad for a cheap hotel but Disney resorts aren’t cut price. The location of 80 and 85 are superb. Fingers crossed you have an amazing experience!

Disney's PORT ORLEANS RIVERSIDE RESORT Information & Questions

Stayed August 6-21. They were doing exterior work in Magnolia Terrace building 85. They were a pain to be honest and pressure washing from early morning to late afternoon, then repainting the outside areas. Very noisy around the ‘quiet ‘ pool and daily some walkways blocked off for...

Stress, Celebration and early departures now live from Disney 8/22 complete

At MCO I bought these crinkle fries from Nathan’s. They were good and fresh and filled the gap. I was glad I had snacks in my carryon as with delays at JFK we didn’t have chance to eat at the airport. So the end of the trip. You definitely need to travel around to get decent food. Brought home a...

I used two of my remaining snack credits to buy these for the trip home too. A blueberry muffin and some Disney style goldfish crackers!

So while at Epcot in our last night I bought this little wonder for my trip home. An almond kringla. And while I remember on this trip to Kringla Og they did have sandwiches and salads!

At lunchtime DD wanted to go to EOS again. To be honest I wasn’t hungry but with QSDP credits to spare we went along for the ride. I didn’t enjoy my chicken avocado chipotle sandwich but I think it was just because I wasn’t hungry. DS had the original sandwich and DD the BLT again. You can have...

Monday morning we headed over to MK and as always at the end of a holiday I list all sense of sensible eating! For breakfast we had ice cream from the Plaza! I had the apple blossom sundae with butter pecan ice cream. It was amazing but not as good as the American sundae! DS had a plaza sundae...

At dinner I just ordered another Frappuccino but I wished that I was hungry enough to join the kids at Santu’li at AK. You choose your meat (beef for DS and chicken/beef combo for DD) your sauce from potato hash, rice, noodles. They both had noodles and then DS went with the black bean sauce DD...

So after consuming kids chicken nuggets and two Mickey waffles I ordered a Contemporary Café burger. This is reasonable filling food and you can choose fries, chips or a side salad. DD had satsumas, a banana and water for a meal. Can you tell it’s getting near the end of the trip?

DS started the day with breakfast at the food court. WE decided to use our penultimate morning visiting a couple of the resorts that we hadn’t got around to. First Wilderness Lodge. Now in my opinion breakfast is what Roaring Fork does best but we arrived too late so I ordered the chicken and...

Thanks. We have had a lovely trip despite having multiple problems with our resort room! I think a week of dining at home would soon bore you but the lovely feedback is much appreciated!
