Burgers at Victoria Falls in AKL

No, but I go over to the Jiko bar and order there. I usually eat there though, never thought of taking it to Victoria Falls. Hmmmmm

    Landry's card/yak and yeti

I got my card in the restaurant when I enrolled. I carry it with me. But I also keep track of everything on my app. So what if you opened the app to show them your account and $25.00 credit? You can rack up points there quickly!

Best QS breakfast and lunch meals at the Disney resorts

In October we ate at Sanaa for breakfast every morning. It was fast and delicious. It was an upgrade from the Mara, less hectic, and of course the view is the BEST. I’m staying at OKW on my next visit so I’ll eat at the awesome Olivia’s, but I would consider ubering over.

    Grey goose slushie stand Epcot

I’d agree with this. I’ve never paid cash for anything at WDW, and I’ve had my fair share of grey goose slushies.

Burgers at Victoria Falls in AKL

I eat at Victoria Falls probably once a trip. We tried everything on the menu last October. The burgers were very good, but I can’t remember how big they were. It’s worth a visit. I love the way that place looks.

Which are the best restaurants for views of Illuminations at Epcot?

I booked a table at La Hacienda for 9. We were given a spot in front of a window about 45 minutes before the show. I thought I had pulled off the perfect evening. Then everything fell apart. The servers were rude, the order was messed up, and when the show started people who didn’t have views...

How hard is it to get a table without ADR?

Simply not true at Disney World. There is something else at play. I understand your claim is logical, but it just isn’t the only explanation. Mismanagement is also a reasonable explanation.

    Jiko was a HUGE disappointment!

    This is so true.

Cape May Cafe Dinner- Reviews/Disney visa discount?

The websites say the visa discount is 10% without limitation. I’d guess it is ok. Without crab legs I’d pass on this. The breakfast characters are fantastic.

    Jiko was a HUGE disappointment!

It sure is beautiful in there. We have inconsistent service all over Disney. Jiko has been in that category several times. But we continue to view it as our favorite and return often. We have always enjoyed the food. I’ll go to Citricos some day. We will try Narcoossees in June, I’m sure...

    ADR missing on MDE app?

It’s happening to me right now with the California Grill Brunch. I keep thinking it was cancelled, but it shows up in my daughters list. I made the reservation. Sometimes it shows up And other times not. I can’t find a pattern.

How hard is it to get a table without ADR?

I was responding to the idea that the problem is staffing. And that ADRs are required. It’s probably more due to poor training and nonflexible software. Regardless, they need to work on it. ADRs are silly when restaurants are empty. They should welcome walkups when a majority of the tables...

How hard is it to get a table without ADR?

Attack? :sad2: I have been experimenting and keeping track of this. I’ve been purposely going to restaurants during non busy times without ADRs. There is no universal policy. Some restaurants are obstinate, and independently operated like La Hacienda. Some just have poorly trained hosts, who...

AP? TiW? What would you do?

I tend to take advantage of the DVC 20% options. I look at how many trips I take in the year. Last year one of my trips was five days during food and wine, and that just doesn’t lend itself to the TiW. Two years ago, I knew I was taking 8 people to Chef Mickeys. That insane purchase alone...

How hard is it to get a table without ADR?

And it’s much easier at Epcot. Not so much at Hollywood Studios - we’ve had some success at Hollywood and Vine for obvious reasons. Mama Melrose at the right time. I find Tiffins and Yak n Yeti fairly easy to get in.

How hard is it to get a table without ADR?

Strange. If they are telling people that, why do they still have the rule? Why not skip the shenanigans and add a cancel reservation option same day? Seems sketchy. Regardless, more power to you. It’s not that important to me.

Tables in Wonderland vs AP Discounts

Yes if you drink a lot of alcohol and avoid all the locations that don’t accept TiW - there are quite a few - you can outpace the AP. But at $2000.00 spent you are still only saving 12.5%. It really depends on how many meals you will have. In October we at the food booths mainly. TiW not...
