Giddyap and Go = good choice for us

I believe the GAG all white-meat chicken is only $3 more. This is based on prior experiences. We always have left-overs when we get the GAG even though we have seven or more of us.

Any recommendations for beaches on the gulf side (driving from the fort)

Another vote for Siesta Key. Beautiful white sand and free public parking.

    Trip Report - 4/8 - 4/17

Wonderful trip report and pictures! Seems like fun was had by all. I wanted to ask about the discounted ice at the Settlement Trading Post with an annual pass. All these years, and I didn't know about that. I guess I've been missing out. But that's nothing new. Last trip I forgot...

JUST BACK - A Short Visit To The Fort

Love the TR and picts. Keep 'em coming. Sorry that we missed you at the Fort on the 12th of March. We were nearby in the 800 loop. Was a five night stay for us. Started out chilly but warmed up. Friday night (or was it Thursday?) was exciting for us as the arcade by the pool had free...

Fun trip report. Can't wait to read more. What a bunch of cuties you have. Can totally relate to the lost shoes. Been there, done that so to speak. Great times.

We'll be there Lord willing. We have a reservation with the Fort Fiends. Yikes. Hoping for great weather like the last two years.

Leave in 24 hrs. & kids are sick!

Will spare the details but this is a gastrointestinal issue. DS 9 has been hit the hardest. Can't imagine if we were in the camper with the onset of this illness. Thank goodness we're dealing now.

Leave in 24 hrs. & kids are sick!

Leaving in 24 hrs. for the Fort with nine of us & one dog, children have been ill, so between changing my work schedule to nights, caring for sick kids & packing for such a large group (planning meals too), I'm tired. This is not a complaint thread though. I need this trip & break. Today...

    General public discounts on sites!

Called on Monday to try to get a discount on my stay in full hook-up for Mar. 27 through April 4, but no luck. Did add a pet loop designation, so the call wasn't a waste of time.

    Line drying clothes

My sister got us a gag gift a few years back. It's a pair of XL men's briefs that on the backside says "Farting is just my way of saying I love you Florida". We always hang 'em up on our clothes line under the awning with the suits/towels. Oops! On a related note, my mother gave DH a...

Does your 4yr old walk at the parks?

Another stroller toting family here. If for nothing else, the child falls asleep, having the stroller is a comfort. We always take an umbrella stroller that folds up small for the bus.

    Dealing with kids and rain

We always take a waterproof backpack (I know those people LOL) with rain gear, sunscreen, water, blanket, jackets, fans and/or flashlights depending on the time of day. Usually the oldest child is stuck carrying the backpack.

Are you kidding me? Baby center at the MK will be closed any alternatives?

Rarely used the BCC when I had a nursing child at Disney. Main reason was timing i.e, my children would want to nurse anywhere & everywhere (no sympathy for their mother that disliked nursing in public). So Hubby and siblings would help "shield" me if needed or when truly hungry the child...

Five days and I haven't even started to pack!

All right! Last minute packing can be done, it's been proven. :) Now let us know if you forgot anything important, as I still have time to throw it into a suitcase for our upcoming trip. Seriously, have a great time.

Five days and I haven't even started to pack!

Leave in one week for eight days at Fort Wilderness. Haven't started packing yet. Yikes. DH & I both work full-time with four children of various ages. Must plan meals in the camper too & shop for that. Also, have to get to AAA for passes. I do have some lists from previous trips although...
