Glad to see I'm not the only one, either.
I was able to customize and make selections on Saturday. When I talked to a cast member they said to keep a close watch on my email, but still nothing.
Oh well, I'm excited regardless.
As of now, we just have our actual names on there. Unfortunately, my go-to nickname, Silverstar, is one character over the limit.
We're considering (we have 4 days to change) to Mattman and Nita, what my surprise little brother called us when he was just starting to talk.
So, for people involved in testing, do they give you the KTTW card in addition to your MB automatically or do you have to ask for it?
If so, how does that whole process work? Keeping both the MB and KTTW active?
That is absolutely phenomenal and makes the fact that I'll be turning 30 midway through the trip not matter anymore. I was convinced that testing the Magic Band meant you were inelligible for the regular card and there for couldn't get paper FPs.
I seriously had a moment of pure happiness...
So... I habitually click the FastPass+ link on MDE every day just to see if anything has changed.
Well, it changed today.
Reading the thread, apparently our first night at AoA is qualifying us to test for the whole week. We haven't received notification yet, but the evidence is all there...
The most encouraging thing I get from this is that they are listening.
They aren't going to say "here it is, take it or leave it, chumps!" It may get rolled out and have a lot of growing pains, but it sounds like they're very willing to listen and adapt accordingly.
So I'm misinterpreting what Magic Your Way means. As long as I bought a ticket and linked it with my stay, I will be able to start reserving FP+ 60 days out even if I didn't order a "package" when I bought the tickets. Okay, that's a relief.
Do only Magic Your Way package people get to arrange FP+ 60 days out?
For example, our trip in September was booked mostly via DVC so it wasn't MYW. It would really suck if that meant people like us, who didn't book it as a package get stuck with the less than stellar FP+.
Non-Target gift cards bought there still get the 5% discount? My wife and I get the 5% discount through the prescription program and had our fingers crossed that we could use the discount on a bunch of Disney GCs.
While WDW hasn't had a real knockout punch since EE, it's clear Disney still has it in them. The new Star Tours technology could easily be adapted into different, original rides, the additions to Haunted Mansion are pretty great, and if you've seen the video for Mystic Manor in Hong Kong, you...
I must be missing something because I don't see how Disney isn't still that.
The problem seems to be that when Disney goes back to the classic well like that (and like they're doing with Mine Train which is likely to be Thunder Mountain meets Snow White) people complain it's not enough. You...
I'm probably alone in this opinion, but I feel that Universal is really overrated. Yeah, there's a lot of good stuff there, but people treat it like it's the end-all-be-all as far as attractions go. Even the state of the art stuff there has this... phony advertisement quality to it. Like they...
I don't like Avatar at all and don't think it will be a movie series that will stand the test of time like Star Wars or Indiana Jones (or Harry Potter for that matter) but I DO think that it's could provide a deep source for some excellent rides and elaborate theming. It could very likely become...
Hmmm, when I booked our trip the specific HH buildings weren't available so I was actually advised to request 23-26. I was under the impression it was only those buildings immediately in front of HH that count. I'll have to look into it and make sure.
