Normally, I would say to wait and see if you want them. You can add them at any point in your trip, so waiting is not a bad idea. However, you have a lot of variables that lend to park hopping. With the grandparents, they could spend a little while with you touring in the morning, go back and...
You should get them about three weeks before your check in date. I know you can go to the parks before checking in to the hotel, but I am not sure about using them several days before.
I think it's just the 3 o'clock one. But I could be wrong. Someone posted a link to the schedule for the day. I can't find it now, but here is this:

We always go to the late show, always on the last night of our vacation. It's not as crowded, and often not completely full. Plus I think it's the only show where there are buses back to the resorts afterwards. We have done this since the kids were little, we just made sure they had long naps...
I believe that only buildings above 30 have the dual entrance to the bathroom. Near HH category is building 11-14 and 23-26. If I am correct, you will have to decide which is more important to you.
It really depends on how you like to vacation. I have seen many people discouraged from the DxDDP because others say it takes too much park time. And for some, I'm sure that is the case. For my family, meals are as important to a happy vacation as the park touring. It's been that way since the...
To fit 6, you would need a two bedroom. It would probably be cheaper to get two rooms, but the advantage of the two bedroom is all the extra room. The living room and full kitchen are very nice. Plus, you cannot guarantee two rooms next to each other.
Do you think they are just getting rid of fastpass for wishes? Ours were cancelled for the 22nd also. I was really looking forward to not having to wait forever.
That's sad. My family loved that. It was much more relaxing. And when the boys were little, they could play in the sand until the fireworks started. I was afraid that was the case though.
Our favorite used to be the Poly. Get an earlier reservation at Ohana, and then go sit on the beach and relax and watch the fireworks after dinner. I'm not sure how the bungalows have affected that. I hope not too much!
I say go for it! I'm all about my kids learning independence. I don't want them going off to college scared because they were never allowed to do anything by themselves. Letting them tour by themselves fosters independent thought and problem solving skills. On our upcoming trip, my 15 y.o...
From what I understand, all of your fastpass+ need to be at the same park. (I'm afraid I will be missing the old fastpass system!) So theoretically, this could work, but it would be difficult. Especially if you are going at a busy time. You would have to get the fastpass+ that you are...
