We've never been the "commando" or "rope drop" type people... Of course, I've been going as a kid, so we had seen everything and would go see the new stuff and visit the favorites. We knew we would be back, so we took our time and if we missed it, or it was closed, we could hit it next time...

I may be wrong, but didn't they have an area they would actually dive into a pool for the oysters instead of just the aquariums in the shop? Am I completely wrong on this or did they do it at another park somewhere? I feel like I saw this somewhere...

I remember the size of the wiener more than the bun... 2012 was when I went and ordered way too many hot dogs thinking they were the old, normal size. We went back in 2016 at least I knew about the change, but I don't recall thinking anything about the bun.

I agree! I do think that more vendors, instead of almost everything being run by one company, helps mix things up and bring more variety.

I agree that it's not an Apples to Apples comparison and Universal, overall, is newer as well. WDW I couldn't do less than 4 days... I would probably have to go to each park at least once or I would feel guilty! Always going to WDW brings back the nostalgia that isn't there for me at...

We ate at both on our trip! I liked Vivo better, but both are worth going to as they have different styles and atmosphere.

We ate at Lombard's one day for lunch and it was pretty good. The Calamari and the fish tacos were the best! My lobster roll wasn't bad, but I would get the fish tacos if I went back! The service was great and it was a nice atmosphere. It didn't feel like you were at a park!
