We stayed in Cabanas 8B last year and did not request or pay for preferred room. It was a perfect spot, close to the big dig, playground. I would ask them to make a note on your ressie that you would like that section, it was really nice.

Just returned from our 6 night stay at Poly (during free dining). We actually went to the POR because their food court is great. I actually think that the crowds weren't bad at all. We never had a problem with any ressies or the food courts. I found going this time of year was great!
