To tell the truth, I was a little offended by the end. The mustard really was extreme. And how much hand soap do you plan on using in your lifetime? Did you see any lettuce or apples or fresh ANYTHING?!? Eating nothing but processed food is not good for you!

I think you are right. This was just NOT a good trip. Lots of things went wrong that I want to blame on SOMEONE and SSR is my scapegoat. I am so sleep deprived that I can't focus! I still don't care for SSR, but I can always waitlist or switch. Sorry to be so dramatic!

I was embarrassed in front of my guests also. It was just the perfect storm of disappointments. I do not want to turn this into a "bash SSR" post. It's our opinion, and I can certainly see why others might enjoy it.

The location is a big part of it. We spent over 20 hours of our vacation on or waiting for a bus. Just a lot of things added up to it being a complete disappointment. (And I only started keeping track of the bus thing after 2 days. That wasn't even our whole trip.)

I guess you are all right. Might as well hold on to it until the points come back. It's just been very difficult to get into VWL the times I have tried. There is nothing wrong with SSR. It just doesn't suit our family.

I was there this past week, also. Friday was pretty chilly for Florida, but my mom called to tell me that it was TWO DEGREES at home. All of a sudden it didn't seem so bad to be in Florida!

When we bought, SSR and AKV were our only choices. SSR seemed nice so we went ahead. I do not care for it. We got back yesterday from a 7day stay, and I really wish I could sell this contract and buy somewhere else. So, I guess I am your lone "regret.":sad1:
