Best Breakfast at Walt Disney World????

Seconding the suggestion of the Grand Floridian Cafe. My father declared their lobster eggs benedict the best breakfast he had ever had. We also really enjoyed 1900 Park Fare; the character interaction was tops!

    Dining Question

Congrats on booking your first trip to the World! You do not need to have your tickets to make reservations, but you should bear in mind that getting to the restaurants in the park does require a valid ticket. So if you don't get park hopping on your ticket, you'll want to spend the day in the...

    Which signature would you pick?

Bistro de Paris has always had an "adult" feel to it, in my opinion. That may change now that it's a Signature restaurant on the DDP, but I'm still not sure I'd recommend it for a 10 year old and a 12 year old. If I were you, I'd go with Yachtsman. It's the more casual of the two. I know I...

Please help me decide if we can share at these 1TS restaurants

Portions at the 50's Prime Time Cafe are pretty big. I think that would be the easiest place to split a meal. I might also order an appetizer for the people splitting the meal to share. Alternately, the macaroni and cheese side at Les Chefs de France is pretty big, as I recall. You might be able...

    Please critique ADR's so far....

Les Chefs de France is really nice for lunch. It's a lot less hectic at that time of day than it is during the dinner rush, even during the peak of lunch hours (at least, based on my experience). Your kids will probably get a kick out of Teppan Edo, my sister and I always liked watching the...

1st family trip to WDW- Did we pick good restaurants?

Hey, you're getting down to the World the same day as my family! I hope you have a great trip. :goodvibes I think you made some really good dining choices. Chef Mickey's is always fun, we did dinner there a couple of years back and had a great time. The food was pretty decent, and the...

Hollywood Brown Derby is off our list...

So disappointing to hear all these negative reviews of the Brown Derby. I went with my family once as a kid, and was looking forward to going back this trip, as an adult. But with all of this negative commentary, I think it's off my list. Too bad :(

    What To Do Next?

That sounds really fun. I'll try to get there early enough to get picked! This is my first trip to the World since my 21st birthday. Drinking around the world could be a lot of fun! I already know I want a margarita in Mexico and a Grand Marnier slushie in France! I had no idea there were...

    Hello From Vestal, NY

I'm a current SUNY Binghamton student, we live right down the parkway from BU. I love the school, it's why I moved to the area to begin with. I imagine seeing it all through a kid's eyes again is just so much fun. There are so many details you start to overlook as an adult, and kids just...

    Hello From Vestal, NY

Thank you for a warm welcome! This is very true. I'd love to go with all of them to the World sometime, it'd be an epic trip. A more realistic goal is an eventual trip to WDW with the housemates and their kids. I'd love to see everything through a kid's eyes again!

    What To Do Next?

I haven't, actually. AK has never been a park my parents enjoyed, but my sister and I are planning a morning there this trip. I'll add the Lion King show to our list! I'm really excited for this, actually. I've heard such good things about Off Kilter over the years, I'm sure they'll be...

    Hello From Vestal, NY

Hi everyone! My name is Erin. I'm 23, I live in Vestal, NY, and I'm a Disney addict! I live with my two housemates, a married couple, and their two children. It's a strange domestic set up, but it works for us. But as much as I love them, they're not the people I go to Disney World with...

    What To Do Next?

Hey all! I'm Erin. And if it's not obvious from the fact that I'm posting here, I'm a Disney addict. But I manage my addiction well :thumbsup2 I'm going on a trip to the World with my folks and little sister [well, not so little, she's 20 (I'm 23)] I'm going to have more solo time on this...
