What is the worst movie ever, in your opinion?

Which ones do you think are really great that have been mentioned? :) Not trying to be snarky, I'm truly curious. I think it's fascinating all the different opinions on movies!! :goodvibes

New Orleans-Good, bad and the ugly

Dollywood?? :rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao: Sorry, I haven't had the opportunity to go there yet. :lmao:

New Orleans-Good, bad and the ugly

Actually, I do, so don't try to make it sound like I'm a country bumpkin. ;) What I found disgusting about NOLA was the utter lack of respect people had ~ for the buildings, for "common" space and for other people around them. People having sex in the middle of the street isn't something...

What is the worst movie ever, in your opinion?

Far and Away (Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman) The Accidental Tourist (it was so bad I can't even remember who was in it)

New Orleans-Good, bad and the ugly

I visted NOLA about 12 years ago and I will never return. It was filthy, disgusting, and I never felt safe the entire time I was there. Lots of homeless people, beggars etc that will approach you for money. We went all over the city (Garden District, French Quarter, Tulane, Riverfront) and...

I do not like the new baggage limits!

We also checked two bags for four people for a week stay at WDW. I'm not one who believes in "just in case"...Orlando isn't the middle of the Amazon...they do have stores there where you're able to purchase something if you find you absolutely need it. ;)

I do not like the new baggage limits!

Yes, I realize that, as we've also traveled with golf clubs. But people tend to waaayyyy overpack and then wonder why they don't have room in their suitcases or why they have to pay more because they weigh so much. It isn't like they are going in the winter, when they might possibly need...

I do not like the new baggage limits!

How about just not packing so much? :confused3 Two medium suitcases for two people is plenty.

November Calendar on the DIS is a little different than WDW's calendar.

I agree with Robo. :) Go with the "official" calendar. ;)

    Aldis Prices went up!!

Yes, prices are going up everywhere. I wouldn't expect Aldi's to be any different.

Would you spend $500 for one night...

Personally, I don't feel any place is worth $500 a night. But you and your DH should defintely get away somewhere for your anniversary and leave the kids at home! You and your spouse need time to re-connect as friends/lovers without the kids around. DH and I do it at least a couple times a...

Just got a Wii - please recommend a good game!

We have three games for our Wii ~ NBA Live 08, Hannah Montana, and Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games...in addition to the games that came with the Wii. :) We play the Mario one the most. :) Though it's a bit difficult to get the hang of, even for me! It has summer Olympic events. We...

Summer Camp Donations --Update Post 89

Yeah, I think that would make me a bit irritable, too. Guess next time, instead of saying "no, you can't do that, we can't afford it right now" I need to be saying "sure! Why don't you walk around the block and ask the neighbors to pay for it??" What the heck?? :confused3

    Hardwood floors or ceramic tile?

In WI, I would never put tile in a house. It just screams "cold and impersonal" to me. Plus, if I were in your situation, I'd go with whatever was cheapest. Which may be just keeping the floor as is and giving the potential buyer a flooring allowance so they may choose whatever they want.

    Summer budget panic!

I never went to WDW until I was 31 years old, and I turned out okay. :confused3 Because I was raised by a single mother and we barely had enough money for food, let alone an extravagant vacation to Florida. And as a child, I understood that. It wasn't a difficult concept. And no, my Mom...

Is it really worth it to stay on-site?

I've done it both ways (stayed both off-site and on-site) and I much preferred the trip on-site. I didn't have to drive and stress about where I was going and *all* the other crazy drivers who were lost :rotfl: and I didn't have to worry about finding a gas station to fill up the rental car...

    Can you freeze salad dressing?

You can, but once it thaws, it will separate and you'll have to mix it together again. :) Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. ;)
