What is Universal and IOA like without the front of the line passes?

We were there today and the only time we waited more than 5-10 mins was for Spiderman (15 mins, said 30) and the Hippogriff ride (20 said 5). The other rides (Big HP attraction, Dragons, Hulk) we waited 5-10 mins. It was great!!! Glad we didn't spend the extra cash for nothing.

We did Le Cellier last year and this year we are ending at Ohanas.

First time family trip to disneyworld and feeling a bit overwhelmed

I recommend Sci Fi when you are at DHS. The food is good and the atmosphere is pretty cool. The second day you are at MK, you could take the monorail to the Poly and eat at Ohanas. We LOVE the dinner there. I believe the BF is a character meal. Chef Mickey's is ok...I wouldn't expect too much...

Tutto or Chefs de France for dinner???

We are 9 people: 2 kids (4 and 1) and 7 adults that like all kinds of food. We are paying OOP. I currently have a ressie for Tutto but it's just for 8 people (a friend is just decicing to join us) so I have to change and thought maybe that Chefs de France would be better. Opinions??? :)

    wow- so empty

I booked our ADRs at the 6 month mark and had no problems. With two months to go, I am now going over things and changing a few times and there are still good times available. And we are a group of 8!

    Chefs de France or Tutto?

Help! I am trying to accommodate a party of 9! Our Tutto ADR would be 4:30 and Chefs would be 5:30 (which works better). My MIL LOVES Italian food and wine, my dad LOVES French food and wine but in general, everyone likes everything. I will have 7 adults, 2 kids (4 yo and 1.5 yo). The Chefs menu...

Which Character Meal to get rid of? Opinions needed

That's a tough one because the characters really are great at CM but the food is aweful, IMHO. Although we have only been there for dinner, perhaps breakfast is better? But I would probably be inclined to skip a princess meal since you are doing both.

Need advice on going to WDW

Why not offer to stay offsite and do other things than just WDW? We love WDW but DH wanted to try staying offsite so we could experience something different and do different things. So we are going for 9 days, only 4 or 5 at Disney, 2 at Universal Studios and 2 days that are open so we'll go to...

    Pregnant in WDW

I wish I would have avoided the Safari ride during our last trip. I was 18 wks PG. It was extrremely bumpy and made me super nauseous.

    How old for riding rollercoasters?

Thanks everyone! I would never force her on a ride she didn't want to ride, that is for sure! I just don't want to be on a ride when she all of a sudden wants to get off!!!! We'll definitely watch the coasters a few times when we get there, I think that will help make her decision. Thanks again!

A question for the experienced people

...are the crowds busy at ALL parks during star wars weekends or just DHS?

    How old for riding rollercoasters?

DD is almost 40 inches tall so I assume she will be there when we go next year. She is always talking about going on roller coasters. We want to take her on the Barnstormer since that is the smallest one and I think she will be ok on it. But she has seen videos of Big Thunder Mountain and Splash...

    Is April that busy?

I know to stay away from Easter weekend but what about the rest of April? February and March are obviously busy because of spring breaks and march breaks but I am trying to figure out if we should go in April or just wait til May. Thanks for your input!

Staying offsite and going into the parks late morning

You definitely run the risk of missing out on FP. We arrived "late" to DHS last year and there were no FP to TSM and very late ones for ToT. We were very disappointed. I guess if parks are open late and you plan to stay there all day, it may not be that bad. But for a park that closes at 5 or...

    DCL 25% off for Canadians!

Would any of the TAs (or others) know if this offer has been offered in past years? I doubt we can swing a cruise this Jan but next Jan would be perfect!!! :) Wonder what the chances are???

what is youngest you took baby to WDW?

I have never been with a baby but knowing my kids and what they were like at that age, it wouldn't have been a problem. They were both GREAT day sleepers. They were also good night sleepers, both slept through the night around 3 months of age. But I couldn't imagine going there with a baby that...

    3 day bahama cruises

We did a 3 night cruise, after 4 nights at WDW, for our honeymoon 4 years ago. It was AWESOME! We went with Royal Caribbean. After four days at Disney, we rented a car, and drove to Port Canavaral (it was cheaper than taking a shuttle and more convenient). We had an outside cabin which was nice...
