In my opinion, having seen both, the Disneyland Street Party is a better experience though they are similar. My fave place to watch at DL is back near Small World, the plaza there is a great spot. I think the other two spots it stops get too crowded.
Hope you enjoy it!
I was at DCA and DL today, just got home actually.
Did DCA primarily up until lunch time and it was not bad, then we headed back to DL to start with Splash Mountain. OH MY GOODNESS, the crowd was out of control. It may just be me but I have never seen the line for Pirates stretch back and...
My name can be taken off the list as I can't make the date now that it is different. Sounds like a great opportunity too, have fun everyone who does go! :-)
Corn Dog Castle is closing????
Does anyone know if this is permanent or temporary? It is our favorite lunch in both parks!
Also, has the Mickey Wheel of Death and Pain re-opened yet?
:-)
We were there the 1st to the 9th of May, and the second or third day there was a news story on the morning show about the Love Bugs showing up early this year. At that point we saw no signs of them. Fast forward to Thursday and I saw my first few, the next day a few more, and then our last...
So it seems the best path to take is for everyone going during the period of May 1st to May 9th to cancel their trips and stay home, right? anyone who wants to do this for them just let me know. At the very least it would seem reasonable for people to cancel their Le Cellier reservations for...
I think I am in the minority when it comes to the Celebrate parade. I really liked it, it was high energy with lots of things going on. I think the interactivity was great too. It is no Parade of Dreams but I am happy with this new experience after one viewing. Of course it could have been due...
At over 400lbs there are some Disneyland rides I have avoided for fear of mot fitting or the ride not working right, ie. Dumbo. I had heard stories, urban legends I guess, about larger guests getting on Dumbo and not having him fly.
Well yesterday was my birthday and I decided I was going to...
Very cool!
Guess I know where I will be spending my birthday fun card next week!
Though a question, seems like this applies to all Annual Passes. Does anyone know if that is the case? Just want to make sure. hehe
Thanks for posting this info. :woohoo:
Hi all,
Not sure if this is the right place to ask but I was wondering if anyone knew if I get my Birthday FunCard at Disneyland next week and don't spend it all, can I use it at Disneyworld when I go there the next week?
Thanks for any info!
I'm a DCA fan myself, for no reason really. Probably because if I was hungry for something on a stick in DL I would hit up Bengal BBQ.
I have a friend who ate three corn dogs in DCA his first trip because he loved his first one so much and he wasn't sure when he'd get back. He also had four...
Hi all,
I feel silly asking this but if any of the DL veterans can help I would appreciate it. The Matterhorn is listed as being closed for rehab 3/9 to 3/13. Does that usually mean it will open on the 13th or will it probably still be closed? We're going Friday and I would hate to not be...
I'm probably weird, but I actually really like the fountain water at most of the DL water fountains. I would say though that I do have some favorites that I find are usually cooler than others, they include:
* Outside the Alice in wonderland bathroom in DL
* The Sleeping beauty fountain...
Weirdness, we went yesterday and parked in the Timon lot. This was at 9:30am and the lot was pretty much empty. Even cooler thing, we parked for free! The guy at the booth we were in line for had to run to another booth and told us all to wait. Then he turned around and said, "Oh, just go on in...
