High Protein, low carb/sugar economical meals?

I don't know a lot about WLS, but I do know a lot about weight loss. It sounds to me that what you are looking for is very much what I'm doing! I highly recommend that you read The Eat Clean Diet Recharged by Tosca Reno. It is 5-6 small, high protein meals a day. This diet is the best thing...

Is a tax preparer worth it?

I think that this is solid advice! I have been doing our taxes for years. The year that we bought our house DH insisted we have them prepared by a professional. We did & our return was really no different, other than the greater expense.

How are you handling your return?

We just finished paying off CC debt, so we are using our refund towards funding Roth IRAs! I'm super tempted to use it on a family cruise instead, but we have to plan for our future, blah blah, blah! We decided to wait and plan a vacation for 2014!

I tend to shop at multiple shops to get the best of the deals...but if I had to choose just one it would have to be Aldi!

    I Need Slippers....Help

I second using Crocs Mammoth as slippers. I have been wearing mine for a couple years now! I couldn't get the support & comfort from any other "Slipper" that I have found. I have a few friends doing the same now! There is a thread here somewhere with a coupon code to buy one get one free...

Okay so I made it in time for a deal the clock was ticking down I still had plenty of time left but once I got into the checkout process it went back to the regular price! Laptop for $200 - recommendations?

Honestly I would ask my computer repair person. That is what I did when I went back to school & needed a laptop. It has everything I need, it was used but like new for $150! The cheap ones that you can get for those prices are junk according to my computer guy.

    Prepaid iPhone4 / Virgin Mobile

This is not totally accurate. Only certain phones will allow you to keep the $25/mo grandfathered rate. And yes you must use a VM phone in order to use their service. Please read this for more info

Flat Screen TV for Dummies (or at least for me)

If you do decide to wait for a Black Friday deal, but still need a TV in the meantime I suggest going to Goodwill or another thrift store & get a tube TV! We got a nice big replacement when our TV in the basement died. It cost $25 and has worked perfectly! So many people are upgrading to flat...

    Prepaid iPhone4 / Virgin Mobile

I'm also grandfathered into the $25 plan with VM. I've been doing extensive research on prepaid options for the iphone and I have decided on Straight Talk, based on a couple things. For one thing the price of the phone itself from VM is too much imho, when it is tied to VM only! You can get a...

Southwest schedule is open thru the holidays

Uggh since I'm a student the only time that my kids have off the same time as me is the week of Christmas. I can't imagine not being home for the holidays though...Thanksgiving doesn't give us enough time to make the flights worth it for me...I'm not sure what to do!

Tell me I can do this

Op, you may be able to do it, although it would take extreme dedication. You may have to go to multiple different stores to get the best prices on what you need. I typically spend more than that on fresh produce each week, but if you use frozen and if you don't eat as much produce as us, maybe...
