We did Misty Fjord excursion couple of years ago and it was wonderful. I think the setting of the Ketchikan is more suitable for float plane. We also did the helicopter tour out of Juneau to land on the glacier.

I would recommend 3-4 days pass. The first two days you have to choose a specific park while the rest becomes hopper ticket which allow you to go back to the rides/shows you missed in the first two days.

We have stayed at SSR studio 2 adults and 2 kids (3 and 1) and it was fine. It is just like a hotel room. We spent most of the day in the park and didn't stay in the room that much.

We bought BLT because of the location. We love to stay close to MK. And if we don't use up the pointm we can rent out points easily since people want to stay close to MK also.
