Thanks, that's one of the times we were thinking about! We are especially thinking about September because they are doing the free dining which is helpful (for money).

We've been stuck in It's A Small World too. About every five minutes all of the boats around us stopped and we had to sit for a couple of minutes:sad2:. We were considering swimming it to escape one of those choruses!

What are some good times to visit Disney where it is not too crowded or cold?

Wolfgang Puck Cafe (I know this isn't NY pizza) has very good gourmet flatbread california style pizza.

I would say Tusker House but now that it is closed (as a counter service), Flame Tree Barbecue is also very good. Also the Tusker House buffet for lunch is delicious!

Both resorts are great! If you aren't using a car, you should probably stay at the Polynesian because it's more centrally connected to everything, but AKL still has good bus transportation so you can't really go wrong with this choice:thumbsup2

I'm sorry about the room view. That's so ironic that the Disney Channel stars are here because they were also at the AKL two years ago for the opening of Expedition Everest!

Yes, we were looking at the Yacht and Beach Club, Contemporary, Grand Floridian, Coronado Springs, (thanks for the info Buzz2001) and Caribbean Beach so if anyone has any additional suggestions or thoughts on some of these resorts, please post back!

Thanks! I already saw that post but I was curious about mostly deluxe and maybe moderate resorts and that post doesn't say anything about the deluxe resorts.

We were looking at different resorts for next year and were wondering what do you think is the best Disney resort for families in all aspects such as amenities, transportation, nice rooms, good swimming pools, dining, etc. Thanks.

There are definitely not flat screen televisions in the rooms and I think there is a little fridge.:thumbsup2

I don't think you should do that because first off they won't be able to enjoy much of what the the parks have to offer and also like everyone else said Florida is too HOT for a one-month old child.

We wanted to try a new resort this time (in the Epcot area) so we stayed at the Boardwalk Inn. There was a lot of good food options, nice rooms, nice pools, and is very peaceful and quiet which is a nice change. However, there are no breakfast options really except for the Boardwalk Bakery...

Do some of the shows such as Beauty and the Beast, Voyage of the Little Mermaid, Playhouse Disney Live, Hollywood Backlot Tour is fun. You can also maybe do Star Tours, Indiana Jones, and Lights, Motor, action if they don't mind loud noises. If they really are thrill seekers, you can go on...
