I want to go to WDW to enjoy myself, not to look like a fool. Neither my DH nor DD enjoyed it either.

I would like to buy a couple items from the Disney shopping on line but am unsure if I should buy the L or XL. The items are a cardigan sweater, a long sleeve t to fix underneath and a denim Halloween shirt. Do Disney products run big?

DD will turn 12 in Oct. and asked if she could have a Halloween party (coed) instead of trick-or-treating. I think it sounds like fun. We are going to decorate the garage so if anyone has any good Halloween party ideas please let me know.

My dd11 still has a night light in her room. Her night light has fiber optic strands that change color throughout the night. It isn't very bright but it makes her feel better having it. I also think the changing colors help her fall asleep better.

I am a second grade teacher and will have 24 in my classroom this year. It will be okay, 24 really isn't that bad. One year I had over 30 kndg. students and 1 aide. That was a nightmare.:teacher:

IMHO, I am sure teachers have enough of an idea on Friday of what they're doing the following week to be able to give them the work ahead of time. Sure I have an idea of what I would LIKE to do the next week but it doesn't always work out the way I planned. Perhaps I have to spend more...

As a teacher I HATE when parents ask for their child's homework in advance. Lesson plans rarely stay on schedule. I always tell the parents that their child should just enjoy the vacation and make up the work when they get back.

I just read that a certain movie is being boycotted for using the word retard. I have always found this word very offensive. It seems more and more people are using it without thinking. Please, if you use this word, jokingly, stop. If your kids call each other retarded correct them...
