    Taking a break

I highly recommend it if you're going at a busier time and/or you're staying at a mod or deluxe. We always take breaks during the afternoon hours because they're the hottest and busiest parts of the day. To me, there's no reason to be in the parks during those times because it just makes you...

Choose for us. One 9 YO boy & parents:

Another vote for AKL. Love the theming there. Second choice would be OKW because they have 2 beds in their studios.

    I'm intrigued...CR VS Swan/Dolphin

Personally, I would never stay at the Swan or Dolphin, especially if I could stat at CR MK view. They just don't have that Disney "feel." However, they do still have all of the perks of a Disney resort, other than DME.

    Flummoxed...Contemporary or Yacht Club?

If you're going to spend most of your time at MK and you get a MK view, it is definitely worth it. I love the YC/BC/BW area, but I would definitely stay at CR MK view over any of these. If you're going to spend a lot of time at Epcot or DHS and/or not getting a MK view, I would go with YC...

10 night stay at Disney, Do Universal or No?

I'm having the same dilemma. Since we're only going for 7 nights, I feel like we would be rushed at both WDW and Universal. Also, the only thing we want to go to Universal for is the WWoHP and I guess that can wait until we can take a longer trip. So, since you are taking a longer trip, I would...

Opinion on which tickets to buy

I would probably go with the 14 day. I would have trouble doing anything other than WDW. We're planning on taking a morning to do WWoHP on our next trip and that's hard enough.

    180 + 10?

Like PP stated, you make your ADRs 180 days out from your arrival date. The +10 is there so you can make all of your ADRs for the duration of your stay during one phone call instead of having to call back every day. This is available for people staying at a WDW Resort.

Views from room at POFQ and POR

We're looking to stay at one of these resorts for our next trip and I was wondering if you guys had any pics of the views from your room? We're trying to decide if we should get a river view room or just get a standard view, but I don't want to get a standard view if a lot of them end up looking...

Disney converting hotel rooms into 'princess,' 'health' suites

I agree as well. I actually think the rooms look quite nice, but they definitely do not fit the theme of the resort. I think it could have fit a little better at FQ, but not Riverside.

    TS dinner recommendations

It means that you don't order a specific dish. The food is just brought out to your table in large quantities and you can grab whatever you want out of it, like LTT dinner or HDDR.

    Spring Break? Crazy?

Like others have said, Spring Break is not the best time to go, but it is not bad at all. The weather is great and crowds are manageable as long as you get to the parks for RD. Also, based on the fact that Easter is April 8th next year, late March should have less crowds than the other spring...

    BWV or BCV?

I would go with BCV. The rooms are definitely more of my taste. Also, although we love BWI, a lot of people find the layout quite confusing.

If you could pick any resort...

I can't narrow it down to just ONE! It would either be GF, Poly, or CR with a MK view.

Best place to watch the parade, and best fireworks view

We stake out a spot on the sidewalk in front of Casey's about an hour before MSEP and when that's done we just stay in that area at the end of Main Street for Wishes. I've found that this is the best area to view Wishes because it's not too close where it hurts your neck, the mob isn't as...

When will i be able to book for March 2012??

Pricing usually comes out in August and you can book packages then. However, what I've been told since I am also planning to go in March of next year, you can book room-only by calling and then add the package on later. I'm pretty sure they book you at the highest rate possible and then drop...

Disney converting hotel rooms into 'princess,' 'health' suites

Oh, ok. That makes sense. Thanks for the info!:thumbsup2 But actually it's 256 rooms. ;)

Disney converting hotel rooms into 'princess,' 'health' suites

The royal rooms are definitely not too "princessy" and feminine. Actually, I think they're quite masculine with the blue, red, and gold theme. Question: How many rooms are in the Magnolia Bend section? The blog said 512 of the rooms will be changed to this so I was wondering how many are going...

    Value versus Moderate

We stayed at values our first 2 trips and had no problems at all. Great transportation (especially at Pop), great theming, decent food, and the rooms are nice. The rooms are a bit small, but if you're mostly at the parks it doesn't matter that much anyways.

Half group on TT, other half ???

Agree with PPs who say try to convince your DS that TT is not bad. It is very tame. If that doesn't work definitely go for Soarin'!!
