We love Halloween around here, with all the fun and costumes and yes, candy..... However, we live in a small rural town and my kids do their "trick or treating" at down town establishments on Halloween afternoon. The door-to-door thing is done in some of the bigger neighborhoods but not ours...

That is AWESOME, and your DF is certainly a sweetie!! I just have a simple large wooden box that my DH made me, with one slot on top and sunken screws so the only way to open it is by power drill....Therefore, my money is safe because I am tool-impaired! :rotfl:
