My DH and I are booked for the Sept. 30 cruise. We live in Florida and have done all of the Disney ship on the east coast and are ready to try the west coast. Because of my work we won't have any extra days, but are excited to see the west coast. Never been there before.:banana:

I would just get off the ship to do the pirate museum. I think all three of your boys would love it and it won't take all day. You could go back and enjoy the ship too.

We went the end of March a couple of years ago and it was very windy. Some of our activities got canceled. I don't think it will be to hot in June. We leave in 179 days:banana:

We always stay at the Comfort Inn & Suites Maingate East. We get there late afternoon the day before the cruise and visit downtown disney that night. It is only about an hour drive to the port.

I would also like to know the answer to the first question, but I wouldn't buy insurance until you get to the 75 day out mark when Disney won't refund 100%. Until that time you want lose any money if you cancel.

I took a wide white photo mat with an 8X10 cutout. Left it at the front desk and all the characters signed it. Brought an 8x10 photo of us on the cruise and now we have a wonderful reminder of the trip. Next cruise August 2011

If you have connecting cabins take along a bungee cord or two to hold the doors open so you can just walk back and forth. Also pack sticky notes and pen so you can leave a note as to where you are on the ship for someone looking for you. We traveled with kids and where able to let them know...

Hey Brian are you traveling from the Pensacola area? I would suggest you take I10 to Jacksonville and come down I95. Maybe that way you will miss alot of the Orlando traffic and all the toll roads. That's the way we are going, but we are leaving Friday afternoon and staying in Jacksonville...

We will be staying in Jacksonville the night before. Plan on being at the port around 10:00. I'll have Steven there as early as possible so he can start entertaining everyone to pass the time away till we bored.:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: One week to go.:cheer2:

Disney also said the week we will be on the Magic, the first two nights will be in the same restaurant. I don't think we will ever figure out what is going on till we get on the Magic in 12 days:yay:
