We stayed at POR last May and felt the same way!

We are going to CBR November 27th-December 4th.Much of the reason for us staying at CBR is the pool, but now I am wondering if it will be warm enough to swim at this time of year. Any thoughts?

We leave for Port Canaveral exactly 1 week from today! I started "making piles" last night, finished my FE, and wrote out my lists. I now truly feel like we are going on vacation. For those who are doing this as a secret, I admire you...I couldn't stand it! See you at the Mickey pool in 9 days...

I am having a hard time with this one too. It is overwhelming to think of packing for 5 for a three day cruise and then 3 days at Disney after. I am thinking of doing some laundry when we get to our resort.

I just bought all of our water shoes, sunglasses, etc.! I am so excited. This week is going to be the longest week EVER! I cannot believe that in less than 2 weeks we will be meeting! I can't wait to meet you all.:cool1: Andrea (from TN)

Has anyone NOT gotten their cruise docs yet? I am panicking now that we are 2 weeks out because we haven't received ours. Please tell me that I am not the only one. :scared:

I used Priceline in December for our cruise in 2 weeks. I was able to get Country Inn and Suites for $64.00 for the night before the cruise. It was right at $70.00 with tax.

My DD (10) is very prone to motion sickness. I called the pediatrician today and he said to give her Benadryl and if that didn't work to go with Dramamine. Has anyone ever used Benadryl for motion sickness. I am afraid that if I give it to her during the day that she will be drowsy. If I give it...

2 weeks until I leave TN for Florida!! I am so excited! We are not dressing in pirate garb, simply because we are going going to be on a 10 day trip and I have enough to pack already! I getting really excited now! The ship is within sight!!

I leave in 14 days to begin my vacation and I am trying to get everything in order. This is my first cruise so I am so afraid of forgetting something! Do I need to bring our beach towels or are there towels on the ship? What about at Castaway Cay? Also, I do not yet have a fish extender...where...

I haven't posted in a while, so I thought that I would say hello. We are a family of five sailing on this cruise...we are on the FE gift exchange list. It will be me, DH, DD (10), DD (8), and DD (3). Christy, DD (10) loves Hannah Montana and High School Musical, DD (8) loves anything...

We applied on March 8th and got all of back on April 6th from the New Orleans office. Sometimes one office is backed up, whereas another office might not be. I had no luck on the online system either.

I also have to shop for our family for the cruise. The girls (10,8, and 3) need all new summer clothes! If it makes you feel any better, it is only 47 degrees here today! No snow, but still cold!

We bought passports for all 5 of us. I wanted to be safe rather than sorry. We are definitely up to a meet at 3:00 on Thursday. I really want the girls (10,8, and 3) to meet someone before going to the kids club.

Since this is our first cruise of any kind we have decided to do zero excursions. We are going to stay on the ship on Nassau day and just enjoy the beach on CC day. We are really excited just about the activities on the ship. We are doing a Palo dinner on Friday night (Nassau day).

I am a cruise newbie (we are going for the first time in May). When you get your hair braided (I have 3 DD), how do you wash it in order to leave in it for that long??
