The Porch was a great small bar. We didn't care for the Conch Republic Seafood place, pricey and so-so meals. Schooner Warf had great food, and entertainment. McConnell's Irish Pub and Grill had good food.

Looks like Thanksgiving morn 2 yrs ago when we tried to go to MK. We walked in, around the castle and right back out! We knew it was going to be crowded but figured we'd try. Wont be doing that again!

We are DVC'ers @ AK-Kidani Village and buses were too bad. Of course we have the luck when we just missed our bus, 5 others park buses will show. :rotfl2: But seriously, we have not had any issues, and we shared the buses with Jambo House.

When are you arriving? If you book two rooms, and request a connecting door @ Pop or POFQ, it may save you some money. You have to check. We did that one year, instead of staying at ASmu suites, which was more money. We didn't get the mini kitchen, but it didn't matter to us at the time. ASmu...

How do they let us DVC members know? I remember getting a postcard last year, but not everyone gets mail on time? Do they put it on DVC website or email us?

Eric, I have never cruise, so I have yet to experience Palo. I agree that if service is excellent, then tip should equal that. Glad I "ran" into this post. Everyone's reply is great. Since reading all of them, I will be adjusting my tips accordingly. :thumbsup2

On Disney Magic, it's $20 charged, per person for brunch or dinner. So $40*20%= $8.00. So a $20 tip is 50%. :confused::confused:

What if the same "use month" is the same? I.E. AKV is in Dec, if we buy BVC at Dec can we combine points? Thanks for answeing my questions.;)

We are thinking of either buying a resale or adding points. I know we can add to our current DVC membership, but I am confused. We currently own @ AKL- Kidani Village. If we wish to add points, do we have to add it to AKL or can we add to a new villa? And if we can add it to a new villa, say...

Same here, until today. The pin is for free dining 4/23-8/13/11, but in my sons name! I don't even know where they got it from. I've waiting for years for a pin, and this one I can't even use. :sad2:
