Got APH Rate for June 17th

Yes, that's how you find the APH rates. If it's available, it will list it, if not it will just list the standard rate. My advice is to keep checking every day. I switched hotels with less than 2 weeks to go because an APH rate showed up for PBR. A couple of days later, the APH rate was $50...

Got APH Rate for June 17th

I had stopped looking for APH rates for late June until I just saw your OP. I had booked RPR for $269 standard rate for June 20-21, but changed to PBH for $219 APH rate. Saved me $50/night for 2 rooms x 2 nights = $200!

tickets online vs AP discount on multi day

For a 2 day park to park, it looks like the online price would be $146 (tax added). Someone in our party already has a FL resident annual pass, so we can get 15% off the gate price for multi-day. I'm not finding what the gate price is for a 2 day park to park to see if 15% off would be better...

basic questions about walking from RPR

Being a Disney veteran, I'm finding the unfamiliar world of Universal is stressing me out! I'm used to being very organized and not wasting time while in the parks, and since we're only going for 2 days, I want to maximize as much as possible. We are staying at RPR. So my dumb questions...the...

    Castle "tour only"

Will arrive at Universal probably early afternoon on 6/20 and will get FOTL passes at RPR. Will head to US first. My kids will be chomping at the bit to see WWoHP, so we'll probably go over there in the late afternoon/evening to check it out. Do you think it would be a good idea to do the...

    APH discount question

If I book HRH now for standard rates (late June), and they come out with APH discount at some point, can I still get the discounted rate? Will I have to cancel and re-book? Thanks.

    Help w/ annual pass perks

Yes that seems to be what they said when I called reservations. Book the 2 rooms using the APH code, check in with the 18 yo APH, and show that there is at least 1 person aged >21 in each room.

How Many AP's Do I Need?

I just called the 1-800 number and was told that 1 APH could get the discount for 2 rooms. In addition, the annual pass holder in our group is an 18 yo FL resident, so I wanted to know if he could get us the discount. They said that as long as there is someone 21 or older in each room, the 18...

Upgrading from 2 days to 3 days?

Not worried about things to do. Just short on time as we'll be checking out of HRH on 3rd day and going to WDW. Don't know whether we'll want to go back to the Universal parks on check out day, or just sleep in a bit, then head to Disney. Thanks.

    Help w/ annual pass perks

My family of 6 plans to stay for 2 nights in June at the HRH. My 18 yo Florida-resident nephew will be joining us. It seems like it would make sense to buy him a Florida resident AP (as opposed to just a 3 day pass) so he could get us room and park ticket discounts. I have seen in previous...

Upgrading from 2 days to 3 days?

If you purchase a 2 day park pass, can you extend to 3 days by paying the extra $10 difference (or whatever it is) if you find you want to go back into the park on the 3rd day? I hate to waste money if we're not sure we'll use 3 days.

Tell me what you like BEST about your home resort!

OKW. We always have a car, so we love the parking right outside your door. We also frequently host extended family, so the size and "affordability" of the grand villa at OKW are the best of all the resorts.

How crowded is WDW in April ?

Easter week is definitely do-able, but you have to be willing to come prepared (do your research!), get up early, and leave the park when it gets unbearably crowded. If you don't, you may be disappointed with how much you can get done. One major benefit to staying on property Easter week is...

    HRH or PBR in June?

Staying 6/19 and 6/20 and visiting parks on 19th, 20th, and 21st. Will have 2rooms with 5/room (3 adults and 7 teens/preteens). Looks like HRH is closest for quick walking to get an early start and I think the kids would like the theming. But PBH has larger rooms to better accommodate 5/room...

Which resort for June stay w/out parks?

Thanks everyone for the great suggestions! I've got 3 weeks until my 7 month booking window, so I have a little time to think about it.

Which resort for June stay w/out parks?

We have decided to stay for 3 or 4 days in June and not go to the parks. (We're going to Universal beforehand this time.) We have 4 kids, ages 17 to 11. We want to enjoy the pools, play tennis, basketball, maybe golf, get ADR's for dinner, etc. We will have a car, so having convenient...

    Random Spectro Magic Question

Just posted this in response to a similar question. We watched the 11pm Spectro the Wednesday after Easter. We walked from Space Mtn, thru Fantasyland at around 11:10. We arrived in Liberty Square, which was pretty empty, and sat on a half wall near the "stockade". The parade arrived around...

    Wishes/Spectro Question

We went to an 11pm Spectro the week after Easter. We watched Wishes at 10, then walked into Mickey's Philharmagic, used a FP for SM, then walked thru Fantasyland about 11:10 to Liberty Square. There was almost no one there. We sat on a half wall right next to that wooden thing you put your...

DVC Spring Break W/OUT the DDP

We are DVC members who just stayed 6ngts, 4/4 to 4/10 at Boardwalk Villas. There are 6 of us; my 4 kids are 10, 12, 15 and 17. I agonized over whether to add the DDP, which at $41.99/person x 6 people x 6 nghts would have been $1512. We decided not to do it, so maybe my reasoning, and our...
