ALOHA! The Polynesian Resort Information Thread: September 2012

Aloha We just returned from our stay in the Hawaii club level. Wonderful place and good location although the winding trail for the handicap accessible area was a bit scary for my MIL. The plants had grown over much of the path. The first couple of times we made sure one of us went with her...

FP+ is Live! Magic Bands in the park!

Hmm Big Brother is now controlling even Disney.:surfweb: As tempting as the offer sounds, and as cool as they look, I am still on the "no" side of purchasing this. Part of the fun is figuring out your touring plan, to me anyway. I mean why pay for something that with enough research and...

    Tinkerbell magic

Just thought I would share for those who leave nightly Tinkerbell magic gifts for their kiddos that currently Wal-Mart has some really nice inexpensive Disney toys, stickers, glowing spinning toys ect. I even found myself a Mickey flash drive keychain. :cool1: I remember when my daughters were...

    :offtopic:

Thanks! And another thanks to whoever posted the info about oxygen tanks. She doesn't use tanks "that's old school" as my daughter says. She has a portable oxygen concentrator that is the size of a small purse the Inogen One G3. She takes it off for the 3 mins max ride times. Sent from my...

:offtopic: Just curious if schools in the area will be out by June 2 and 3rd?: We have EP for June 2nd but are really worried about crowd levels for June 3rd. Our group will consist of my in-laws age 76 and 79, my daughter age 11 on oxygen and then my husband and myself. We are using a guest...

ALOHA! The Polynesian Resort Information Thread: September 2012

:yay: I'm getting super excited about our upcoming trip. I have been looking at pictures for days. I'm dreaming of all the wonderful smells of the food and flowers. I can't wait for the Lapi Lui drink, the Kona Coffee, the Bannana pancakes:banana:, even the smell of our suntan lotion. My...

ALOHA! The Polynesian Resort Information Thread: September 2012

SOOO glad Nescafe is out! Kona is awesome coffee but pricey. I wonder if Starbucks is working on a contract since the MK bakery store switch.

Hiring disabled people to get to front of lines? WHAT!

This makes me sick and pissed off at the same time. Do these kind of people really think those of us who actually need a GAC really love needing one? My daughter has a rare lung disease and uses oxygen daily. Trust me we would gladly trade her crappy lungs and have to wait in a hot crowded...

    Pay it Forward

Just wondering how many of you "pay it forward". I totally believe in doing this. Examples of what our family has done: 1. Leaving one park to head to another park we have given our double stroller (back when the kids were that age) to someone with kids walking up to rent one. 2. Paid for a...

    WDW and Portable Oxygen Concentrators

My daughter has a new and improved Inogen One G3 that she will be using for our upcoming trip. I love the new one as it can be worn just like a small purse. It has provided her with much more freedom. I'll try to have a report when we get back.:cutie:
