    The BEST DVC perk.

What an awesome pic! This sums up the slow-down DVC attitude that I am learning to live with. For a former commando-style Disney fan, this was a huge change for me - still one I'm totally learning to live out.

    Thinking about selling...

I would think selling privately at the top dollar for rofr makes sense. You will have a smooth closing bc Disney is buying from you. Unfortunately, the potential buyer would be screwed.

A very sad day -your thoughts and prayers are needed

We will all miss Bob. I relistened to the last email podcast today. What life he brought to the show! My thoughts are with the podcast team and Bob's family.

How many of you are psyched that.....?

Travel is expensive - but having that Disney room paid for is SWEEEET!! I'm thinking that having a bigger room is probably what will happen to us too.

    It's up!

I got it. I hope Pete is back this week. We need a Pete rant...

    Whispering Canyon

The kids menu does not include the skillet. There are the typical Disney kid options here. A 3 year old would have to order off of the menu, I would think.

Hoop Dee Doo from Wilderness Lodge

I think there also is a boat service from WL to HDDR.

Talk to me about CS at AK

Chalk up another vote for Flame Tree. I think it is one of the best CS in all of WDW! We used to love Tusker House, but, alas - no more as it is a TS restaurant.

    Guys, I really need help.

We always like to do Boma on our AK day. It is a short bus ride away. For the BB day, you may want to think of burning that extra sit-down credit at a signature restaurant in a resort like Narcoosee's at GF or Yachtsman steakhouse at BC or California Grill at Contemporary.

    Restaurant temps

Hoop Dee doo Review is the worst about this. I am Mr. Sweaty. I'm NEVER cold; but even I freeze my pitooty off in Pioneer Hall.

Tube Lickin' Dolophins and Other Great Lines.

I just about lose it every week when Bob throws extra "R"s in all of his words. That dude is hilarious! Especially with "Caht Cam." I also thought the line this week by Julie about Hansel and Gretel was exceptionally clever.

    taking kids out of school

We snatch our kids out at the drop of a hat! My kids make all A's and they're smart like their mother. Now if they were like me....

    Louisiana DVCers!!!

Moss Bluff, maybe??? We're from Moss Bluff in the Lake Charles area. We will go twice this year (usually only get to go once). We were there over mardi gras and will be back in June. We own at SSR and have owned since '07. BTW - Roll Tide, Roll!

Do any of you vacation at the resorts w/o going to the parks?

We have yet to vacation this way, but you guys have me convinced. As a fairly new DVC owner, I only recently learned of all the fun stuff to do at the resorts. They really are vacation destinations unto themselves. I look forward to the day when my goal is to read a book and nap; not to ride...

    Best Steak?

My vote is for the YS. Not only do you get a good steak, but their dessert sampler is tops on my list of favorite desserts in WDW!

5 adrs 1 more to pick?

If you are dealing with picky eaters, you should be safe at WCC. Also, buffets are good bets with the picky eaters too. On the buffet side you may want to consider Chef Mickey's, Boma (there's enough "safe" food here), and 1900 Park Fair.

Wow! It sounds like you guys had some fantastic meals! Did you do anything besides eat? That's my kind of vacation!

    Whispering Canyon Review Anyone?

My family enjoys Whispering Canyon. The food is good (not great). You can order a "skillet meal" where they just keep bringing BBQ ribs, chicken, sausage, and peel and eat shrimp. The portions are huge. As others have said, it is loud; however, that is part of the appeal. I have also found...

    Charging things to room??

You can actually tie your room key/park ticket, better known as your "Keys to the Kingdom" to a real-life Visa Card. If you do this, you can leave your wallet in the room. Also, if you are on the dining plan, your Key to the Kingdom will have your dining points on it. I know you are...
