YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
I called the number, they found the hoodie and it's on it's way to me!! AND it cost so much less than those online sellers would have charged me :cool1:
Thank all of you for jumping in and helping
edited to add: Followed the advice offered here and (see my post below) was able to contact Disney and order the hoodie. It's on its way now. Thank you all for your help.
Hi,
So I was just at Disneyland (first timer-but I've done Disney World a bunch) and during the last tiny bit of the trip we...
5ish years ago, as we're deboarding Jungle Cruise:
"Please watch your step and be careful as you exit the boat.
Because if you fall, I will laugh.
And then I will get fired...":rotfl2:
And his delivery, totally conversational, was perfect:lmao:
I was working on a reply to the 'souvenir budget' thread and then realized that my answer had almost nothing to do with budget, but more to do with strategy. And I'll share what I was writing here instead, but while writing that I started to wonder if how most visitors approach souvenir...
Did you have this conversation recently? Because on our last MK day (the 8th of Sept) we had the a VERY similar conversation with a CM at the train station. He talked about loving SM, but after having ridden it with the lights on, it now made him nervous and he wouldn't raise his arms while...
The might sound a little lame, and maybe not the most applicable now that fall is here, but the best tip I read was along the lines of "It's going to be hotter than you can imagine. Be prepared for the fact that you're not prepared for how hot it's going to be".
We're from Portland, OR. It's...
Our second time was rained out and the offered us a replacement time that conflicted with out dinner reservations. We told them this and they gave us a later time that day and they did so without blinking, so it seems like an issue that comes up often enough that they don't mind working with you...
I don't know about the Halloween party, but I believe that I've read that "yes" it is included (but someone else will know for certain, I'm sure).
But I do know that you can get Jedi Training without the +. The photographer will give all the families a special photopass card at the beginning...
I love, love walking down Main Street and letting myself fall behind my family. I watch them and take pictures while they stroll forward, holding hands and looking around, with their out-of-the-norm backpacks and hats making it obvious that they're vacationing, with the castle rising ahead of...
We just got back about 2 weeks ago and I've absolutely felt the PDDs, but it's not as bad as last time. Last time, I felt...it felt like I was grieving a loss that time. It was pretty bad. I was afraid, before leaving, that this time would be as bad but thankfully it hasn't.
I am hanging out...
We just returned from WDW about 2 weeks ago and were there (for the most part) during very low crowd times (LOVE that). The Tremaines did have a photographer. I don't think I ran into any MK characters who didn't have a photographer with them.
But in Epcot Mary Poppins didn't (as has already...
You know, barring the occassional run in with someone being weirdly rude about their photo taking, I just don't care anymore. I used to mind flash photography on dark rides and such (thinking "It's against the rules! Who are they to ignore the rules?") but I'm just over it now. I mean, whatever...
This is where I turn and say "My goodness, I think you and Captain Hook will get along wonderfully!"
Because, really, what else would I say to such a overyly serious grump in the midst of a Dis-Magical land where no one has to behave like a grownup if he/she doesn't want to?:rotfl2:
I'm just curious about the characters people get to draw at DHS. My family and I only had time for 2 classes and did Flynn Rider and Jiminy Cricket but my girls have asked several times who else they could have ended up drawing.
I imagine the list of answers is as long as the list of Disney...
Thank you WDSearcher for your post. I've been to WDW a few times but feel like I'm just now learning about it and I love adding information details (like those you've shared) to my knowledge base. :)
AAAAHHHH, I feel sad that the bears aren't being used. We got back from WDW just a week ago and had a 10 day visit there.
Somewhere in that time (I'm thinking the 31st, but the date stamp on my camera is/was wrong so don't know for sure) we met Merida and were so lucky to be first in line...
I've stayed offsite and onsite and have felt safe and magical both ways. However, I have felt less cramped and more private (Disney walls tend to be thin) offsite and that's why I pick offsite. I don't think offsite automatically equals bad part of town or less pixie dust. It's what we each care...
This last trip, my youngest dd (almost 8) really wanted to meet characters, so we did more of that then we had before and had so many great interactions.
Among my favorite character memories:
1. Dale trying to steal the 'snacks' off of dd's rainboots (she wears cute, treat-decorated rainboots...
We just got back a week ago and are from rainy, rainy Portland. Generally rain isn't a problem for us. But the 2 noteworthy rains that we ran into at WDW were so bad that in the (less than a) minute it that took us to get under-cover, we became seriously soaked all over; including our sneakered...
Thanks for this post and the answers. I was just wondering about a biography and skimming amazon.com reviews, but never thought to just ask here :rotfl2:
I think I'm going to order used copies of both the Gaebler and the Thomas books.
Additionally, does anyone have any favorite 'behind the...
