With preschoolers...avoid MK on Sundays and Mondays?

I would go for a little bit on Sunday. Then, get there for rope drop on Monday. Lines are so low if you get there early - especially for the toddler friendly rides because everybody heads for the coasters. Get fast passes for some things, but you could really wait to start those until an...

I need to hear from fellow ride chickens about 7DMT!

I am a chicken and it is nothing. It looks way scarier than it feels. No steep drops and nothing is long. Do it!

    Critique Itinerary :)

Looks great! I would choose Soarin over Test Track for EPCOT fast pass. New Soarin is amazing! If you do not do Tusker house for lunch, Boma for dinner is great.

To do or not to do EMM Fantasyland?

We went it the end of June when it was more crowded. I felt like getting there at rope drop was good enough. For the first hour, wait times were very low. It was great! I would go to your faves first thing, get fast passes, and just soak it all in. Save the money for a treat or souvenir...

Need to hear from chickens who did Splash Mountain

I was a big chicken and still don't ride most coasters. But, I wanted to challenge myself. I went on Splash Mountain and really liked it. The drop at the end was really scary, but now I've done it a lot and it is not as bad. I stood out and counted how long it took for the logs to get down...

    Starbucks in parks

Has anyone been to the Starbucks locations in the parks lately? I'm trying to find out if they have sandwiches or other lunch/dinner foods. I have lots of Starbucks gift cards from sweet students, but I don't drink coffee. I know there are treats, but I can't tell if there are regular foods...

    How is H&V for lunch?

We enjoyed it. Very tasty! Did not think it was loud.

Water park with 13 month old

We've done both with our little one. I think either is fine at that age, but if you want to take the child into the wave pool, BB is better. BB kiddie area has some very little slides at top of the area, two slides kids can go down themselves, a set of three slides that parents can go down...

We did same thing for 11:00 show. Had 11:30 reservations and it was fine. :goodvibes

    Toddlers in Disney

We are heading down next week. My son is 15 months old and has been walking for a few weeks, so he's interested in a lot but still falls down a good bit. What places should we make sure to let him explore? He likes checking things out and I want to give him some walking time in the parks -...

    Feb or Sept?

I loved our trip when we went in September. It's still warm and you can enjoy pools. There is barely any wait for anything. Also, there seems to be more rides that close down for refurbishment from January - March. Either way, you'll be in Disney so it will be great! :goodvibes

    Scary-ness rankings

I am a trying-to-reform scaredy cat as well. EE was not as scary because the drop turns and is not as steep as some others. I suggest remembering to keep your head back on the head rest, not down, when you go backwards. RnR has a different feel - not so much a drop feeling, but you feel...

    September

We loved September when we went. Will probably be going again in 2015. Crowds were low. We live in GA, so all this talk of it being hot is not really a factor for us. Can't even count how many rides we just walked on. Went in July last year and will NEVER do that again comparing it to...

adding paper tickets to kttw cancels rfid

Well, I'm glad they could see the tickets. I remember reading about the switch to RFID and that they were not sure about how it would work with non-expiring tickets. The system sounds like it still needs some work. Hope you are able to get in without a problem and have a great day tomorrow...

adding paper tickets to kttw cancels rfid

Interesting. We have KTTW cards from last trip with non-expiring tickets on them. Wonder what will happen. But, am I understanding you correctly that the card and the tickets worked at the parks, it just didn't work to tap it? Keep us posted. Thanks.

    Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon???

Typhoon Lagoon is our preference. Crush N Gusher is awesome and the Shark Reef is a unique experience. We like both, however. You can't really go wrong either way. :goodvibes

    Our interesting FP+ experience

Interesting. What I think I am most impressed with is how you kept your cool while you were waiting and even though what you did was not supposed to be live yet. It so refreshing to hear a clear and objective report about something that is upcoming at WDW. Thanks. :goodvibes

Need a good early entry plan for AK

I would go toward Asia. I would grab fast passes for Kali then go to Expedition on standby. When we were there and headed to Expedition first, we had only a 5 minute wait. After doing both of those, I would head over to Safari. You probably will need to get fastpasses for a later time - it...

can I run over to HS alone and get fast passes for the entire family?

Maybe with your great attitude, you'll get lucky and karma will keep the fastpasses available until you get there. You could also go standby. There is so much to look at and you could talk to your kids about the different games b/c they might not know what they are. You could also talk about...
