Went to all 4 parks from 4/22-4/26, each about 30 min to an hour after opening. Security line was about 15 minutes at each one. I was randomly selected for the metal detector at EPCOT, and that only took about a minute, maybe two.
I used Small World Vacations for my last trip 7 years ago. They were very helpful and friendly so I'm using them again for our trip in April.

Here's what the menu I saw had, which was consistent with what I remembered we had:
cucumber with watercress
shrimp salad with dill
chicken salad with almonds
grilled pear with gorgonzola
egg salad
If you have any food allergies or even a concern with the ingredients, the chef will...
I took DW and DD7 to this last week and it was great. Definitely get reservations well in advance because the room is small and nobody is in much of a hurry. The latest I could book ours was 3:50 and we didn't end up leaving there until well after 5:00. Somehow, the time just flew by though...
The suggestion I've seen most is to request a room with a view of the wedding gazebo. If you get one, you're at least guaranteed not to have a view of a parking lot. Also, some of the standard rooms viewing the gazebo may actually have slight water views since they're on that side of the hotel...
I booked through a travel agent, not directly through Disney, but I would think it's essentially the same thing. I used Discover for the initial deposit and the balance. They also tied it to the Key To The World card while we were there. So they definitely take it.
We were at the YC from 10/30-11/3. I booked a standard room, but requested a view of the wedding gazebo, as suggested by many here. They gave me this:
Don't know if it was a mistake or an upgrade but I wasn't about to complain. It was room 4131 if you're looking for it. Great room! And it...
We waited about 15 min to see Jane and Terk from Tarzan but saved Mickey and friends for the character greetings at Epcot, which worked out much better. Walked on It's A Small World, waited about 10 min for Winnie the Pooh. DD7 loved the dance party at Ariel's Grotto. We left just before the...
DD7 insisted on swimming Fri night and Sat night after our day in the parks. It was probably in the 60s. We were in the sand bottom pool at Stormalong Bay and the water itself was very warm. It was great until we had to get out!
I can't say it was my favorite attraction, but there's something to be said for a show where I can still remember the "In the Tiki Tiki Room" song after having seen the show only once 12 years ago.
I'm looking to get one of these for myself:

I have an older Eagle Creek bag and it's great, but somewhat smaller than this one, so I thought I'd try something slightly larger. Seems masculine enough though. :)
Another recommendation here for getting a separate seat for him if you can. Yes, it costs more, but for us it was more than worth avoiding the hassle of sitting DD on our laps. A separate seat gives them their own space and is probably safer too! You also get extra room for a carryon to store...
I've never been to MNSSHP and haven't been to DisneyWorld since 1996 and don't know when we'll be back. And we're there during Halloween so DD7 will be missing Trick or Treating at home. So for us, it seemed like the natural thing to do. We got our tickets today for 10/30 while making our ADRs.
