Epcot could they be delayed releasing restaurants for Dec 31?

I agree. I can even find reservations for Christmas Day. Something seems fishy!

I don't know, but I got nothing as well. Ugh!

    NYE transportation?

Yes, they actually are opened afterwards. We rode Soarin' a couple times after the fireworks then we headed out. I hope it's the same this year!

    Mini Mist Fans

I find the mini fans that don't mist work way better. They made our hot Disney trips bearable!

Our experience - testing requirements/air travel to U.S.

You have to make an appointment for Walgreens. I think they just do 1-2 appointments every 15 minutes. I had to book 3 separate 15 minute appointments for us, but we drove up and did it all at the same time. No wait at all.

Our experience - testing requirements/air travel to U.S.

We flew WestJet and had to show our results at check-in and also when we landed the customs agent asked to see it.

To Go or Not To Go

I can't tell you the sweet relief of getting the negative test! Then you can really enjoy those last 3 days of vacation. :)

Our experience - testing requirements/air travel to U.S.

I also wanted to mention to make sure you make your Walgreens appointment 72 hours before, NOT three days! We originally did 74 hours before our flight, but found out that we would be denied! So make sure to check your flight times and book no earlier than 72 hours. Walgreens was so easy, we...

To Go or Not To Go

As far as working, we work from home so figured that a positive test would mean we would work from home for a couple of weeks in a hotel. My plan was to book a hotel or a separate Airbnb house to ride it out if needed. The other option is you could rent a car and drive it all the way home as...

Our experience - testing requirements/air travel to U.S.

Yes, I've been back for 8 days now. We ended up getting 16 nights rental for $1000 CAD through Alamo. Prior to that, I kept getting quoted $1800 for two weeks, etc. I was so excited to have a rental for the whole trip!

Anyone ever book 5 adults in a Mod 5th sleeper room?

my daughter (5'2) fit on the bed no problem (CBR). But I don't think they'd allow it in the system, but I guess it doesn't hurt to call.

My family didn't catch covid and we were there for 2 weeks and didn't wear masks.

WDW and DL have new mask policy

We just got back and am actually very thankful that we didn't have to wear masks. That heat was INTENSE and I couldn't imagine wearing a mask in those long lines! I don't think I would've cancelled had masks been implemented, we may have just avoided some lines. Toy Story Mania comes to mind...

Our experience - testing requirements/air travel to U.S.

We just had the same experience! We used Walgreen Rapid ID Now as well with no issues. I'm sure it would be easy enough to use an Uber to drive through, but we had a rental car. BTW, we booked the rental the day before we left and ended up getting a decent deal. I had been checking rates for...

August 2021: Florida has more new Covid cases than ever before

We just got back from Disney World last week. We were there for two weeks. If you're not comfortable with being around people in Florida, I would definitely postpone. We felt great feeling normal again, and thankfully were there when we didn't have to mask. Nobody was talking about covid and...

To Go or Not To Go

We got back one week ago after 2 weeks of Disney World glory! We didn't mask, didn't avoid large crowds and enjoyed our time immensely. We are all vaccinated, and didn't get Covid (thankfully, because we had to fly home to Canada). I did find it odd the people who seemed really nervous to be...

    Are wait times still exaggerated?

We found some were over and some were just right, none were overestimated. For example, last week Soarin' said 30 minutes and it was walk-on. Also, we found Thunder Mountain almost always says 35 or 40 minutes, but it goes SOOOO fast, we were usually no more than 20 minutes even with the line...

    Possible travel late August

And apparently it's not always available. I've read some nightmares on here of people having to change flights because MCO ran out of PCR tests!
