Stressing as Toe Pain 3 Weeks Before Trip

No downsides as far as side effects that I have seen. I've also tried many different brands and had good results from all but I've only tried capsules. Basically you are eating about 30 cherries in pill form. One thing though if it is gout you will probably have to continue taking the pills...

Stressing as Toe Pain 3 Weeks Before Trip

Try this because it's relatively cheap and easy and has no side effects, etc. Go to a Vitamin Store (sometimes regular drug stores will carry this, but lately I haven't been able to find it) and buy some Tart Cherry extract pills (something like 350 mg). Ignore the "recommended" dosage and...

    Worried!

Those photos of the "robbery" look like my hotel room at some point every vacation thanks to the wife and kids.

    Haunted Mansion on MNSSHP nights

The ghosts out front won't be there all night. I don't know the exact time that they leave, but I feel like it's around 10:30 or 11:00, maybe right before the second parade. Although, once they leave, the line is pretty much walk on after that point. This will be our 4th party and the...

Anywhere to buy scissors at Disney World?

A few years ago, we were in the lobby of CBR struggling to open some plastic-cased new thing (can't remember what it was). The bellhops noticed and asked if we needed some scissors. Best customer service ever: saw an issue and helped before we even had to ask.

Conflicted: Crowd Calendar for Oct 2014

I think I'm about the only one around here that keeps saying this, but October in Disney World (especially the first couple of weeks), has really changed in the past few years. It's not super crowded like summer, but it's not the typical "light" fall crowds from 5+ years ago either. I would...

    MNSSHP Dinner Thoughts

We are doing the lunch at DTD and quick service at the party this year. We've done probably every option in the past, but I probably enjoyed eating at Tony's around 4 in full costume (Woody, Jessie, Fairy Godmother, Boo) the most. It was just a different experience. And Tony's is super...

Please help with my touring plans...it's been awhile since I've done this!

I like the plan. In addition to what the other posters said above, most touring plans that I know of are based on you attending a park one time on your vacation, so even if the park is somewhat crowded the second day, it's not a big deal because you were just there a few days ago. Also...

Maelstrom FP+ not available in early October?

I don't think Disney would schedule a shut down without making it public regardless of the reason (Frozen retheming or otherwise). Put me in the camp that believes you just don't need a FP in September/October for Maelstrom...although, that said, do you really need one for EO and Figment...

    Schedule

I see no real issues with any of it. I'm assuming you meant on October 9 that you'll be at the park in the morning with a separate ticket and at the MNSSHP that night (we'll be there that night, too, FWIW) otherwise you couldn't do the parade at 3 pm. I'm also assuming you meant all of the...

    1st Time Poster

It's more than just pushing buttons and might still be a little too intense for your child...or maybe you. I just know that it's another attraction that generally has a line build up at some point in the day, so a fastpass might be something to consider if you think you'll do it at all.

MNSSHP, booked FP+ 4-7pm, what about MB?

Oh, I missed that. Good point and I don't know the answer and have no way of checking. I would say though that since it now tells me my selections are maxed out, it appears that the system allows three fastpass+ selections for every park ticket day that you have. You just can't make a...

MNSSHP, booked FP+ 4-7pm, what about MB?

I just tested it out and apparently the system allows you to do that. It's kind of a flaw, but in its defense, it doesn't exactly know what days you are going to what parks. My vacation is from October 3-10, but I only purchased 5-day MYW tickets because one day is basically checking in/out...

    1st Time Poster

My only concern is about the rides and attractions that are typically fast loading with little wait, so... I would possibly consider swapping out Voyage of Little Mermaid for one of the stunt shows...but that's probably something that depends on when you get there. I think typically, Mermaid...

    How often do you hop?

Never do it anymore. Just seems to waste too much time.

    Would this make sense?

In my opinion, there is such a thing as too much Disney, or in what you're proposing, too much Magic Kingdom. I wouldn't want to risk the Magic Kingdom becoming ho hum for everyone involved (and that can definitely happen), so that makes me think 4 days at that park in one week is too much and...

    Soarin' SB+ test...Fail

Actually, almost all of these "problems" would not exist with if they kept to the limit of 3 fastpasses per day and only at one park.

When Did You Tell Your Kids and How?

In the past, we just told our daughter immediately (she would have been 3 to 6 at that time). Even though she had been before, she really wasn't one to keep bugging us about when we would go. She's a super bright kid, but at that age, the exact "when" just didn't totally register with her...

    EMH or not in October...

This is very good advice. I kind of forgot how crazy WS can get in the evening during F&W.

    EMH or not in October...

We are going around that same time (10/3 - 10/10) and we've been there this time before and I wouldn't completely trust the crowd calendars if they are saying anything less than moderate to (near) high. It won't be swarming with people like in the summer, but it won't exactly be low crowds...
