Getting a wheelchair w/o offending anyone, very long

After you rent your first ECV, you will never look back. You will have a terrific time and the lack of pain is heaven. Who care's what other people think? Are you ever going to see them again? As you say, somepeople rent the wheelchairs and change passenger's all day. They usually do...

    Howie's Angels

Does anyone really believe anything they have read on the boards under discussion? Why do you believe they (board) has a cozy relationship with Disney. We never tell anyone what attendence, dining, etc. figures are. Also, I take exception to some of the calculations I have read, about...

Maybe this is a dumb question, but after placing a hold, how do I find it again???

As a Travel Agent, I found this thread very interesting. I tried out the USAIR website. Did you create a profile and password? It is required to hold. They also require a credit card to "Hold" the reservation. The HOLD transaction will not complete without the credit card information...

    "Sit-down" dining , solo

I have been dining alone for 30 years. I love to have dinner by myself. Don't get the idea I am anti-social (a group of 4 of us dine together at a Disney Resort once a month), but I love to dine alone, with my book and watch the action. I was shy and nervouse but I hate fast food. I...

    Concierge Solo?

I have done the Animal Kingdom Lodge concierce alone and it was wonderful. If you can afford it never be afraid to take advantage of anything available to you. The concierge staff is warm and welcoming, the afternoon tea and the evening desserts and cordials were lovely. I had my...

    Universal with Disabilities

I have read your responses with interest. It is nice that many give Universal the benefit of the doubt.......but........if they are going to make money by renting ECV's, then they have to make the facilities compatable with this mod of transportation. I have been using an ECV for about...

    Can nyone advise me?

I know that you can start out feeling terrific but all of a sudden you poop out. It might be a good idea to suggest an EVC, that you all can share driving. It is hot in Florida in the summer and can be draining. If you all take turns driving, when she starts to feel washed out, it's...
