    Tickets on Orbitz?

Has anyone bought tickets on Orbitz? We usually go to Disney World and have our passes added into our package. We're not staying at a Disney hotel this time so I'm not sure the best route to get tickets. We'll be at the Embassy Suites South. I just want to make sure I get the right things...

    When to book?

We are doing a grand gathering in June 2013. I've heard there might be some kind of a promo/pins that comes out in Nov or so for that time frame. I'm wondering if we should book our room now andadd the package later, or just wait until the codes/pins come out. I think we're going to need...

    Gay Day 2013?

That's what we wanted to know. Thank you. And thank you to those that understood my question. I just wanted some basic info if that article was the exception or the rule.

    Gay Days?

Not how it was intended. I'm talking about the small percentage that go for shock value that isn't family friends. HEre's a link to the kinds of things I'm referring to. http://www.wdwinfo.com/disney-gay-days.htm

    Gay Day 2013?

I don't have any issues with normal behavior/affection regardless of the preference. I asked specifically about "radical" issues that we've read about sticking to the park listed each day. I've been around same sex couples and don't have issues with it. If we're going to see 2 guys/girls with...

    Gay Days?

Same sex isn't our issue at all. It's the over the top, in your face that we were worried about. If it seems to be mainly at 1 park each day, we'll just plan around it. I know my kids know what it is and have seen it - and don't really question it. I'm pretty sure the younger ones won't...

    Gay Day 2013?

I posted this in the family section too, but might get more responses here. We're planning an extended family vacation (20 people?) to Disney World, ages ranging from 2-70. As a whole, there are a wide range of views on Gay Day. Most don't have issues with it, but don't want it in to be in...

We're planning an extended family vacation (20 people?) to Disney World, ages ranging from 2-70. As a whole, there are a wide range of views on Gay Day. Most don't have issues with it, but don't want it in to be in the middle of a "radical event" as listed on a website - or have to be...

    Primevil Whirl...refurb??

FYI - Disney's site says that it actually goes down Jan 16 through April 16. We get down there on the 15th so we'll have to do Animal Kindgom first or DS won't get to ride it.

    school excuse for kindergarten

I teach Kindergarten and when I have parents going to disney, I suggest a making a disney ABC scrapbook (bound on notecards at an office supply store or an all out photobook on Shutterfly or something), and journaling something they did each day. If you want to add education things to it, you...

    Ride Progression?

I have a DS 3 (4 in march), at the 40.5" mark without shoes. He seems like a little daredevil, tough guy, but I don't want to scare him with super intense rides. He doesn't like it dark in his room, but doesn't mind the dark if someone is with him. How does this sound to gradually try out...

    DME - tips?

I'm not trying to start any disagreements, but I wanted to know if we should tip the driver of the DME? I understand the tips for luggage are taken care of, found a thread about tipping for exceptional rides, etc. but that was in August. Just wondering what the current "norm" is for...

    Soap for the refillable mugs?

I don't remember where I saw it on a post, but someone made the sponges with interfacing (at a fabric store). I think they bought the heaviest weight and rubbed soap on them, let them dry and packed them to use. My mom has a little travel sized one. I think it came with a liquid laundry...

    Vitamins

We leave for disney in 8 days (15 hours... - according to the countdown clock). I was wondering if you put your kids on any vitamins or anything before going to try to avoid sickness or just take your chances. I'm not a huge germaphobe, but I was just wondering. What about for adults?

Anyone on Sparkpeople.com for weight loss?

It's pretty much the same, but I'm using www.myfitnesspal.com When I'm religious about writing down what I've eaten, I do great. Otherwise, I slowly add a few here and there.

    Support

I've been running for about 2 years (started at 15 miles a week). At this point I've run a half marathon and would like to do more. the half I did was in September and now I'm finally starting to enjoy it again. the first 2-3 miles still stink, but after that, I'm good. Let me know what...

    Online Food Journal

I don't know if this okay to post or not, but just wanted to share a free online food journal I found about a year ago. It's www.myfitnesspal.com I just thought it might help someone just start (restarting) the weight loss journey.

When you began on the treadmill.

I've only had problems with this once, and it was when my calf muscles weren't stretched enough. Once I go over those being super tight, they didn't hurt any more.

Should I Take My 3.5 Year Old to See Bolt?

My DS is close to that (4 in march) and he did fine through the whole thing. It is most Mittens and Bolt and the hamster through the whole thing. I think he liked it, but is also very easy going. Good luck. I guess worst case is you leave the theater because it's not going well. It...
