We have one and use it for flights so that we can save on fees but also board in zone 1. We have quickly gained enough points to pay for a ticket or two as well. They no longer have foreign transaction fees so we use it when we go out of the country.

I would do the week in November that already has days off. That would be less time missed from school and would most likely be a less structured week of school any way with the days off.

We had the same thing happen last year for a breakfast reservation- no monorail and had to wait then finally walk from ttc. We were 30 minutes late and we offered a refund of the deposit or just to wait. It was my son's 9 birthday and we waited about a hour for a table.
