We go a free upgrade on our reservation for a pool view but now I'm worried we will be very far from the main building. We will be in Alligator Bayou as we are a family of 5. Any thoughts - should I send the room request for something other than a pool view when time comes?

We are booked at the Radisson Lake Buena Vista for July. I'm excited to try a downtown Disney hotel. We have stayed all over and like to mix it up. The Trip Advisor reviews are good, and we got an excellet price through Expedia.:thumbsup2

I agree with the previous posters; July will be fine if you do some planning, but expect the unexpected in terms of crowds, rain etc. We've been in July and August before, and it will be our norm as the children are older now and I don't want to take them out of school. I do like it then...
