Hi! I am here (so late), but I just want to chime in on the AG subject... Before I made patterns for kids, I made patterns for dolls. I've seen a big range of price, quality, durability, etc. The AG dolls are pretty hard to beat, I must say. Mine have been subjected to wardrobe changes...

I have a Brother PE-700II that was (still is) $799. That is pretty cheap for one with a 5 x 7 hoop. You are welcome to come up to Towson and try it out! :thumbsup2 Yes! That is awesome that you have a blind stitch foot! The machine shop owner actually suggested one of those as a...

Yikes! :scared1: If they are just names embroidered on to fabric, that does seem high. I can understand if it was something more complicated to hoop like a tote bag or shirt. If she has a big hoop, she could probably do the whole job in one hooping.

Oh my goodness, that is cool! To get the solvy off, I usually just stick a needle in near the seams and pick, pick, pick. It is a pain, but eventually it comes off.

Disboutiquers Part 12 Kids Disney Boutique / Customs Clothes psst..we sew

I made a little dolly to send to sweet Becca. Hopefully she will make for a good friend in the hospital :) . She's a miniature version of the Kimberbell Kids Doll. She's a wee 10" tall, and was sewn mostly in the hoop (meaning the embroidery machine did most of the work).

I'm pretty sure it just the needle. It needs to be a ball point or a universal. The regular needles for some reason don't catch the thread properly, so stitches are skipped. Love the fabrics!!!

*CLOSED*MOVED*Disboutiquers Part 11 Kids Disney Boutique / Customs Clothes we sew

Well, I was born and rasied in the South, but have been up North for the last 10 years or so. I ironed just about everyday when I was a teen/college girl, but that is because I wore a lot of things made of wrinkle prone fabrics like rayon and linen. Now I'm pretty much all knit, all the time -...
