We have stayed at Long Acres Cottages. It is a bare bones motel but clean and safe. The owner is very nice and helpful. I believe the rates ran about 100.00/night. Our family prefers Assateague beaches to Ocean City and this motel is perfect for us. Good luck!

We live in MD and went to DC Friday. It cost 35.00 for us to ride the metro! I know things cost more now but when I was a kid the Metro was the cheapest and easiest way to go. Next time we might just drive down and pay to park. Karen

Our living room is at the top of the basement stairs and we can pretty much hear everything. I also make trips to the laundry room often when a big group is over.

It's a nice idea but it leaks on the bottom so make sure you place a cookie sheet under the pan. Not worth the hassle in my opinion. Karen
