I am a DVC member and will be staying there. However, there are others in our group staying at AKL, DTD Hilton and WA. I just am wondering if they can all come up with me. In Sept, Dh and I brought 2 others up with us who were not DVC and BLT resort guests.

Where would you stay for a solo trip for 3-4 nights? As background, I have stayed with my family (dh and kids) at POR, Poly, GF, BLT, CR, BWI, D&S, Pop and GC. During our last visit, we took the boat to WL. It just doesn't do it for me.....reminds me of GC and many of the resorts we have...

My DS 6 and 8 love the Mario as well. They also play with the Lego ones mentioned - Star Wars, Batman, Indiana Jones. We have a couple of the Mystery ones where you have to find things hidden in the pictures. That's fun too.

On a number of pages back, JayCNS mentioned a different code than the free dining and saving money by switching - well, I called yesterday morning and asked about it - and changed my Sept Poly CL ressie from FD to the other code and saved $300 for 3 nights!!!! Wow, thank you so much!!!!

DH and I got that book a couple of months ago. Already paid off 2 CC and working on car and one more CC. Hope to be debt-free with just the house by end of year.

October is our favorite time of year to visit! Days are warm/hot (from our perspective of living in Minnesota) and nights were pleasant. I'm not sure we would ever do MNSSHP again as it was EXTREMELY packed the night we went. We had been to P&PP in March and it was no where near as crowded.

So what number do you call to reserve? Is it at 90 days out? Also, how do you go about getting the Disney Visa discount? TIA

I don't think that pic posted is a standard room - when we stayed in a standard room, there was a desk, the bench at the end of one bed and the chair that is closest to the balcony - but not the whole other area and chair - that seems like a lot more space than what we had.

We are staying our first night at a DVC resort (BLT) then moving to AKL for a few nights. Can we pick up our MYW stuff at the first resort, or do we physically have to be checking in at AKL to do that? I think we want to go to MK the following morning and just wonder if we can get our stuff at...

I hope that wasn't our family next to you at the GF!! The little kids can be kind of loud at times. :) We stayed at both the Poly and the GF last year. While both were lovely, as a family, we prefer the Poly for the grounds and atmosphere. It was just overall more relaxing.

I wish the SJP brand was sold around here. I love my Banana Republic jeans and my CABi jeans. They fit beautifully.
