    Cell phone use at WDW

I started a new thread because no one on the sticky thread regarding cell phone use seems to be a Sasktel Mobility customer. I just got my bill from our trip in January. We have a month to month plan with 150 long distance minutes with Sasktel mobility. We paid 95 cents per minute total for...

Would You Do Mardi Gras Next Year?

I have only been once, but this was our experience in 2008. We were there from Jan 28 to Feb 7. The first week we were there we basically had no waits for the rides (this would be the last week in January). We walked onto Soarin one evening at around 7:30pm. There were lots of people around...

Is all of Jan. usually really croweded?

We were there from Jan 28 to Feb 7. Very little waits the first week, longer the second week. Keep in mind though I think the Superbowl is in Tampa next year. I don't know how this will affect Disneyworld but definately something to consider.

    Caribe Cove?

You will pass the Orange Lake Supermarket (Publix) every day on your way back from the parks. (Well you will pass it the way to the parks too, of course, but it will be on your right side coming home:) ) I have heard the Walmart is cheaper but we just didn't feel like driving the extra little...

    Caribe Cove?

I am excited for you. We wish we could go back. They did not have actual beach towels in the rooms. We brought our own because we knew we were going to Typhoon Lagoon and didn't want the hassle of renting towels. There were lots of towels in the rooms ( I think there were three or four huge...

    Caribe Cove?

Hi, we stayed at Caribe Cove from Jan 28 to Feb 7 of this year. We had a two bedroom for two adults and two kids. It was just as pictured on their website. The rooms were clean and spacious and I am a picky person. One thing they don't tell you about and I thought would be good to know so I...

    Back from the World today...

We thought maybe because we are from a sparsley populated province and a small town that the crowds just seemed big to us. I am guessing from reading the posts they actually were big. We were wondering if this was supposed to be a slow time, what it would be like at a busy time of year. We...

    Back from the World today...

We got back on 2/7 as well and are a little depressed about having to come home. We were there from 1/28 to 2/7. The first week we had no waits on the rides. By Saturday Feb. 2 the crowds were noticeably much bigger and the waits were longer. We are glad we did every park once the first week...

9 yo son afraid to fly

My 9 year old son is also afraid of flying. We are leaving on Monday and it will be the first flight for both of my kids. He is really freaked out. Started crying and got hysterical when we told him we were going (that was about a month ago). Since then we have shown him the Disney planning...

    Westjet and Pearson Airport

Thanks for the answers. I am very stressed about this because the more we try to rush my oldest son the slower he moves. It will be at around 7 in the evening so I hope the lines won't be too long.

    Cell phone use at WDW

My cell phone package is with Sasktel Mobility. I phoned them to find out what the charges would be for using our cell in Florida. They told me it was a flat 95 cents per minute for roaming in the US. I asked about additional roaming charges by US companies and he said they used to do that...

    Westjet and Pearson Airport

I am new to the Board, I have been reading for a couple of weeks. There have been other posts on this subject but I am looking for some more detail on the actual process. We are leaving for Orlando from Saskatoon on January 28, flying with Westjet. We have 90 minutes to reclaim our baggage...
