Just back - Swan Reserve experience

Thanks so much for that review! We'll be staying there in December. As long time fans of the Swan and Dolphin, I'll enjoy checking it out. We're DVC, too, and now that we can use our Bonvoy points to stay at those three resorts, it's like a second "home."

    DVC Website Issues

Today, no joy with Chrome--even Incognito! However Safari worked like a charm. I wonder who builds their websites? They could do better. Sigh.

Ethernet ports for internet access at Disney Resorts?

Thanks, everyone! I'm going to count on using the hotspot on my iPhone, since I already have that and it is very reliable.

Ethernet ports for internet access at Disney Resorts?

Greetings! If you never met the internet before 2005, you will no doubt find this posting mystical. I am now fully vaccinated, have an Annual Pass, working from "remote" and ready to do some work-and-stay trips at WDW. I have no idea if there are any options to hardwire yourself into a network...

    The Everything Pooh Sized Thread

I had no issues, or even hints of issues, on Rise of the Resistance at 5'7" and 350 pounds, including a really bad knee.

What to eat when you have no sense of taste.

Miracle Fruit is also grown in Listen to the Land--or at least I saw it there in September 2020. Next time you ride, they are usually on the left towards the end of the greenhouses.

ECV Users--I am looking for Orlando Area information.

I did use the Cruise package and the tray! The tray is a huge win for me. This trip was partially solo since my husband flew down to join me only for a few days. Given the current state of dining at Disney, I wound up eating mostly counter service and F&W kiosks. Table service options are...

ECV Users--I am looking for Orlando Area information.

I just got home after my first trip to WDW with my Travelscoot. It was fabulous! I was able to use my Jeep or just the Travelscoot to get anywhere I needed/wanted to go on property. It is so easy to lift. I don't need to fold it for transport. I drove down with it completely collapsed. After...

So I got an email today from Disney, regarding the fiasco on Monday!

I don't mind quarantine when I return to NJ. Heck, I was going to do that anyway because I'm a software engineer and that's how we roll. But because of the quarantine on arriving in Florida, F&W starting on July 15th, and park reservations opening up on June 22, on Friday, June 19th I moved our...

So I got an email today from Disney, regarding the fiasco on Monday!

And I'll raise you with a "Ducks and Bunnies!" Seriously, though, that's unfortunate. I fantasize about renting a car near home (northwestern NJ) with out of state plates. Like maybe PA plates from the Allentown/Bethlehem/Easton airport and driving down. It's a fantasy. I'm OK about not...

So, after considerably more research, I will be buying the TravelScoot. Once I started googling "folding scooter" a world of additional options were revealed, and I chased them all down, and have decided that the TravelScoot will be worth every penny and a faithful steed! I feel like I know...

@mamabear So sorry to hear your situation is deteriorating. Glad to see you are do what you need to stay mobile. Thank you so much for your help! I just spent some time on the Transfomer EzFold site. Right now it looks like the TravelScoot is in the lead--let's call it Angus by a nose. The...

ECV Users--I am looking for Orlando Area information.

Just in time! I have the TravelScoot in a shopping cart and my credit card out. Thought I would check back here one more time to see if there were any updates and ask a question about a second battery. Whoa and behold (pun intended) I am going to check out the EzFold. I'll be back! Thank...

Thank you for sharing your experience @mamabunny! I believe you have the perfect solution to my dilemma--acquire a TravelScoot! I completely agree with and appreciate your safety concerns. I go a bit further, and don't recommend bungees as a tie down. Ratcheting cargo straps are much less...

. Thank you, Ray, for doing some more looking around and especially your pointer to Spin Life. I had found these guys in Wisconsin: Discount Ramps I'm going to try calling a few vendors in the Orlando area and will make sure to post back here what I find out.

Thanks for the input! Great idea! We used Walker Mobility back in the day for my mom's needs. They were fabulous! We were at the Polynesian with my Mom for her 90th birthday. She had never had problems walking around the parks before. This trip though, was after she had moved up to NJ...

ECV Users--I am looking for Orlando Area information.

Hi, there DIS People! For the past few years, I have had to use an ECV to tour the parks. Pre-pandemic, I flew to MCO rented a car and had an ECV delivered to my on-site hotel. Now in the post-pandemic world, or at least for the foreseeable future, I will be driving to Orlando. I am no...

    The Everything Pooh Sized Thread

I have ridden Dumbo and Magic Carpet many times at around 350 pounds. Probably around the same for the Carousel. The only issue I ever had with the Carousel was getting on and off the horses. I would chose a "low" horse to mount, and when it came time to dismount, it was really high. This is...

How to decline a MagicBand since last update??

Before my last trip, a couple of weeks ago, I went in and deactivated a few dozen magic bands. My whole experience with scanning on park entry really improved. So, just go in to your MyDisneyExperience, and deactivate anything you aren't going to be using. For our trip in November, I used...
