Actually it depends on the length of stay. 3 days or less, there is a very slight savings with the plan. 4 days or more, you are better off buying mugs. The longer the stay the greater the savings, by buying a mug.

I stand corrected. I backed into the number by estimating how many OOP drinks would make it a good deal and it worked out as such. But if your cost for six mugs is correct, and you look at as if you would buy mugs, it is not such a good deal, other than deserts. And actually we are not big...

We did that in 2006. We got in after midnight from NY. Stayed 3 days at Pop, no tickets and 8 days at beach club, with dining plan and tickets. We did universal and Sea world while at the Pop. It is a great way to save money if you are going to do off site stuff anyway.

The CS plan is without a doubt a good deal. I figure a CS meal, WITHOUT a desert would be $10.20, with tax. One snacks $4.00. Times 2 = $28.40. That mean to break even you only need one resort drink via mug to break even. Say you have 2 resort drinks/day, that is a savings of $2-3/day plus you...

Not sure about theming, but accomodations for 6 at a pro-rated price is long over due.

I have a family of six also. That one extra family member almost doubles the cost of staying on site. Somehow dosen't seem fair.

What do you figure for drinks and deserts. I guess if you figure $5 a drink and $5 a desert that adds $60 per day and leaves $10 for CS lunch. If a counter service cost $ 50 than there is a $40 savings a day. Thats about a 17% savings. Ok. My numbers for drinks and desert may be off but maybe...

Plan vs. no plan. 6 adults. $230/day. I looked at prices on menus. I roughly figured that entree's at most resturants from $25. That's $150. That leaves $80 per day for desert,snack and lunch. It does not seem like such a clear cut cost savings to be on plan. Please debate.
